Diana, This debate is in the Town Hall setting that McCain had to have in their negotiations about the debates. Which is why I really felt that Palin’s performance was exceptional poor. It was , the format was agreed upon by McCain and Obama long before Palin. Yet she got away with given a Pageant speech. I Loved the flute playing that Tina Fey did, cuz that was so dead on. Along with the Jr.High mentality! So that’s the Tenn. Debate tomorrow and Oct.23 will be the longest debate. That one will be similar in format to the first one. The moderator for the debate tomorrow is Tom Brokaw. WoW,I just googled to find out who next’s moderator will be and found this really interesting article… Google Launches Google Moderator For Presidential Debates http://blog.wired.com/27bstroke6/2008/09/google-launches.html The final Debate is in Madison Wisconsin and will be moderated by Bob Schieffer, the host of CBS’ “Face the Nation”.

Boy I guess I read the wrong debate schedule …I am now looking into the New York Debate. Boy I feel dumb! But the Google thing sounds very intriguing. Well I do not feel that off, they changed the date and locating but not the Moderator. Hofstra University is pleased to be the site of the October 15, 2008 presidential debate.

Yes, he may have difficulty with that tho. I think McCain would’ve won it, were it not for the timely Bailout… and Palin’s oopsy moment on Couric’s show (Couric took the wind out of Charles Gibson’s sails there, didn’t she?)

Alias…I believe Obama would’ve won it, regardless, due to pocketbook issues. The economy’s the number-one issue. The bailout boondoogle may’ve been a blessing in disguise, in terms of waking up the many sleepwalkers among us who were blissfully unaware of the crisis. But there’s still a lot of elitists out there with the “let them eat cake” mentality, more concerned about a potential uprising in Iraq than the sinking of the American economy.

I am so glad I found The wOw site in time for the debates and the events of the last month. I am looking forward to hearing the debate , listening to what we all have to say and putting out those gut reactions that we have! May it be a most informative evening tomorrow. I am so glad the repairs on the cable lines was done today! I would have been so bummed if I had loss the net tomorrow!

Even though I have already made up my mind for the election, and really don’t understand anyone who thinks they do not have enough information yet, I am looking forward to the debates. I am hopeful that they will allow real questions and bring forth thoughtful answers. I agree that if “values” comes up I’ll be throwing my shoe at the TV, too. Somehow the conservative movement has co-opted the term values, as if they are the only ones who have them. I have values, too. Perhaps they are different than yours but they are just as valid. Don’t tell me I don’t have values just because I do not agree with your viewpoint. Values has become the code word for right-wing conservativism — I’ll tell you how to live your life, I’ll legislate how to live your life, but then say I’m for less government.

This may be good for TV sales. And for new shoes.

I am shocked and saddened by this video. Why should it come to this? Why? Lets not forget the world is watching, such mean and hateful words won’t be forgotten even after the election is over. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/06/mccain-does-nothing-as-cr_n_132…

Edwina, The McCain campaign, if it continues towards promoting this kind of hate, is getting out of control. They forget that they have no control over the people, any people that show up to these events. And, you are correct, the world is watching as any thought of decorum is thrown out the window. http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/10/7/03628/8762/58/622356

Diana, As I have been saying for over a month now, It’s these kind of People that scare me. These are also the people who claim to be Good Christians………….I wonder what their Jesus would think of them if he came back to Earth today and attended one of their HATE RALLY’S. The Term ‘The UGLY American’ This certainly describes this group of Americans. I wonder if Obama and Biden don’t have second thoughts about wanting the job of President and VP. With the horrific mess Bush has left our Country I feel sorry for the Leaders of Tomorrow.
