Let Your Hair Down!

Relax, let your hair down (literally — we have this gorgeous photograph of her in the June Vogue, with loose hair and a lot less foundation than she usually wears and she looks terrific), try to enjoy the campaign.

Cindy McCain Only Needs One Piece of Advice

Cindy McCain doesn’t need any advice except to appear a little more relaxed.

Get Fluffed Up, Cindy

Maybe get a new look, fluffed up. But she seems a-ok to me.

On the surface, Cindy McCain does come across as a socialite and somewhat disconnected from her husband’s constituency. However, I do expect that in the coming weeks, she’ll surprise many with her intellect. She’s a very savvy and energetic communicator. Regarding her money………………It is not a crime to be wealthy. It is not a crime to earn it or to inherit it. Don’t expect her to apologize for it. Her money is irrelevant, just as Teresa Kerry’s should have been.

Advise for Cindy… now let me see. I agree with most of what’s been previously posted about her plastic look. But she’s more than botox and beautiful clothes. I think she’s a woman with heart and she’ll make a fine first lady ala Jackie Kennedy. She’ll have her causes and her luncheons and always remember to stay in John’s shadow. I think she knows her place. I don’t see a Hillary Clinton or Eleanor Roosevelt (aka strong woman personality) so she’ll fit into history with the other Laura Bushes, Mamie Eisenhowers, etc. She doesn’t need to change much.

There’s more to her than meets the eye-she’s shown her kindness and compassion regarding children and her vulnerability by letting the public know about her drug addiction and the lengths she went to, in order to get drugs. Information most people would have kept under lock and key. I hope Sen. McCain knows what an asset she is to him, just like Laura Bush is the only good thing Pres. Bush has going for him. Both wives have had to suffer through much, for their husbands. I think Cindy McCain handles herself just fine-needs no advise from me.

JJ GB Good point. She is a woman, why are we going to beat up on her? That is pointless and lacks class. She is no lightweight. She does amazing work for children and always has. I have respect for her.

You look great! Do not listen to other people! You look[] strikingly beautiful! You remind me of my ex-girl friend who also has a beautiful facial bone structure, the ones that Bo Derek, Greta Garbo and my ex-girl friend have, with the hair UP to show off the beautiful bone structure, the hair should be UP!—- just the way you are! DO NOT CHANGE IT, PLEASE?—-dancewu(dot)net

Every one of these wives should not have to appear at every campaign rally. Also, how nice it would be if they could just be their authenic selves, and not having to fulfill campaign advisor expectations.

WOW Women - Of all of the things you could comment on regarding Mrs. McCain you choose to comment on her looks? Dissappointing.

You said it, Dawn. Makes me want to cut my bangs!

Let’s be honest here, Dawn. Virtually none of us actually know her, so her looks are the first thing we see and judge. That’s just human nature. It may be superficial, but aside from the Stepford Wife comments (and I agree with that) most of the criticism has not been outrageously catty.

There was a piece today on Yahoo comparing both wives….who will always be a source of comment while in the public eye. I was a fan of Mrs. Carter and not so much of Mrs. Reagan, then I met both briefly and my opinion changed. Nancy Reagan was actually quite sweet in person. Here’s the piece: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080610/pl_nm/usa_politics_wives_dc
