Hillary Clinton, Cindy McCain and Michelle Obama are spending quite a bit of time in the spotlight lately, so we thought we’d ask: What advice do you have for these women? Today, we’ll start with Sen. Clinton. We’ll look for your advice tomorrow for Cindy McCain and on Thursday for Michelle Obama.

I would tell Hillary to chill out for awhile and get rested and then throw herself into getting Obama elected. And not to seem to want anything more than going back to the Senate, to let the chips fall where they may and send Bill on a long trip abroad.

Tell Hillary - To do her Campaign on the INet - Answer questions. We need to get the $$$$ OUT of politics. INet Campaiginig does that. 2. Give Bill Salt Peter

I AM 100% WITH JOAN COONEY HERE. Hillary has to kind of “get down” and relax and do her best for the Democratic Party so we can eventually have a more fair-minded and intelligent Supreme Court. And that should be it. And double for sending Bill off around the world and not being seen with him much. She will remain the most important woman in the United States, hands down.

Be gracious, stop striving, call off your minions with their veep petitions.

I don’t think she should stop striving. It’s not impolite, unfeminine or venal to strive. I’ve done this all my life, and my successful career evolved from striving. Ambition in women is still viewed negatively and seems to besmirch our “purity and noble feminine man made profile” as calculating and suspicious. Politics is as you know full of compromise, deals, coalitions, etc., so from any politician we accept their shennanignas for the most part. What I feel is implied is that Hillary is not entitled to play in the sandbox under the existing rules determined by men? I believe her speech Sat was gracious and she touched on issues of importance to many who voted for her and she promised Obama support. Among the VP minions are Hillary supporters and a few like Lanny Davis. Some will never stop, as they feel a loss, so she must try to reign them into the Big Tent, which I believe she’ll do. But right now were I Hillary Clinton I would need a rest, figure out how to pay my debts, and get prepared to stump for Obama meaningfully. It also means I’s be striving [plotting?] for the contingency of Obama winning or losing and what my next steps could be. The worst one would be VP, and I feel she knows it’s not an option. Women Plot. Men Plan. Women Strive. Men are ambtious.

I would tell her to rest. I would also tell her speech last Saturday was wonderful, healing and mature, also very real and very human. I would tell her look to the wisdom in all matters, that even though we can’t understand a shut door, metaphorically speaking, someday the wisdom of this time will be understood by her. She is a remarkable woman, and she may contribute in a better way in some other capacity. I would tell her to look at her life in the abstract, and let go. I would thank her for her speech Saturday, and I would wish her butterflies, wisdom, solace, and loved ones arounds her.

I wish I were smart enough to give Hillary good advice. She’s an intelligent woman who has had the interest of our Country at heart her entire adult life (even in her teens) I’m sure with a great deal of thought she will decide on the best thing for herself, her family and our Country. I have mixed feelings about the position of Vice President. If this is what she wants I truly hope and pray she gets the offer. I know what ever her choice she will not fade into the background. She still has the ability, the will and desire to do great things for Our Country. I am so disappointed she did not win the nomination but I also think Obama will make a great President. They really are more alike in their ideas than distant. We must win the White House…….Here’s to you Hillary…I love ,admire and respect you.

Dona, I agree with you 100%. I’m heartbroken that she didn’t win the nomination, but I know that she will find some other way to contribute. I think the role of Vice President would be a waste of her talents, but if that’s what she wants, I’ll vote for it.

I would like to apologize for my behavior toward certain women on the website during the past week, and to all of you for becoming a part of the destructive negativity we have all been saddened by. Please read my further comments on my blog: http://www.mugsypeabody.blogspot.com/ I’ll see If I can’t try to be part of the solution, rather than part of the problem in future. Keep it up, Mugsy; you haven’t said a darned thing that didn’t need to be said! If there are folks out there that can’t stand the heat in the kitchen, that’s their problem. A lot of people don’t understand the Art of Argument and Debate. Your words are worth reading…

I’d advise her to listen to the kudos and the critisism. Mugsy - you could do well with that as well. I notice you only post comments on your blog that agree with you (I know, because I read your blog and posted one that didn’t agree with you), and I have to wonder if that is part of your frustration here at WowOWow, hmmm? You have to hear both kinds of critisism here!
