Why Obama Should Choose Hillary for Veep

I’d be happy if he chose Hillary but since I don’t think that will happen, I can’t think of anyone else whom I think would really enhance the ticket. I guess a governor who might help bring in a state would be the smartest thing to do.

Think Again, Obama

I’d say if he wants to really win, he should rethink Hillary Clinton. It would be good for women and for the Democratic party.

Why Mary Wells Can't Pick a Running Mate for Barack Obama

I don’t have a favorite for Barack or John McCain. I am inspecting all the states and am not sold yet. I bet both gentlemen stay up nights twisting and turning and grinding their teeth on this question.

i would love to see bill clinton on the ticket. i think it would be very humoress. can you imagine the republican’s shock and dismay. yeah, i know it’s not happening, so i would like to see hilary. before john edwards got caught with his pants down, i thought he would be a good choice. by the way what the heck was he thinking?

He needs Hillary, but that’s not going to happen. I hope he will choose someone with solid foreign policy creds. Michael Bloomberg is an interesting choice, but he doesn’t have foreign policy experience and is Obama so bi-partisan that he wants to put an Dem turned R. turned Independent into the “heartbeat away” from the President spot? Do the Dems want him to?

I think John McCain would be great. You never know how long Obama will last. . (JUST JOKING FOLKS ) Picking a VP is only trying to bring in some more voters into the fold. If Al Gore is still in th mix, I guess he would be a pretty safe choice.

i do not think al gore would be interested. it seems to me that he may be above the political games. i mean, why would this crap about edwards come out right now?it is only y opinion, but it seems like mr.gore gave the finger to political games when we had the hanging chad. i like al, i am wondering if hillary is on the ticket will ms.condy rice be hooked up with mccain? i can not take another 4 years like the last 8.what do you think? condy and john? possible? even though i am a very liberal demo, i admire what i know about condy.and do we still have a v.p.? have not seen him in a long time.

He would never pick Hillary. Why would he? He knows (as do Bill and Hil) that Barack could be (heaven forbid) shot— and then the Clinton psychodrama would be upon us all again!

Biden or Richardson. If it was Hillary, what would they do with Bill?

I think Obama is above average smart and will pick the right person. In reading some bio on Biden, I must say, that any man who takes on the care of two sons who survived a car crash that took his wife and daughter, and didn’t shirk his duty to family by letting someone else do it - is pretty okay by me. He does have a passion though, and is well equipped in foreign policy knowledge. I was very taken with the governor of Kansas and how she invited Bush to roll up his sleeves and get to work after the final (thank Claude) state of the union. Hillary - no way. She’s a power hungry politician and I don’t trust her. Too many years in the harness - she’s corrupt. Not to mention, again, that because she stayed with Billy - I lost respect for her. It was all about the power and still is. As Ms. Tina says, “What’s love got to do with it?”

I think Hillary is the smartest move at this point. Too bad they haven’t managed their public relationship better. He needs her now to get the position. At this point, he needs something! I worry that Biden is too liberal for a good portion of the country. I’ll bet he’s great at a party, though! Barack has really let McCain get away with a lot of Rove-style slurs. And the media has been only too happy to stretch that out. I did not think McCain was more open or detailed with his responses to Sunday’s discussion. He was just more aggressive. I also think he knew the questions ahead of time, and then just popped off immediate answers that didn’t go deep. But, that did distract from any in-depth reply. Americans do like assertiveness and often mistake aggression for assertiveness. I think the political woman who used to work for Bush (can’t remember her name) who observed that McCain doesn’t listen well hit the nail on the head. Barack is too studied in his responses. I happen to agree with most everything he says, but, if he doesn’t up his verbal energy and learn to be more concise, on a one to one, it will lose him the election. And, surely in the 4 debates that are coming, McCain won’t be able to answer every question with yet another story of his war record and experience . Surely that will have been used up, and he will have to answer a question in the present. Kathy S

I honestly think Marlo Thomas would be good vice president. Not because im a huge fan im not afraid to admit but she also has issues that should be heard and make peolple think and listen to her and to change the world. She already has being on That Girl and her endless work she does at St. Jude. How about it Marlo are you up for it. I think you can do it just run yor own race. You can guide people to run there own race like you do. Your My favorite Person in my book. You are such an inspiration. What i exactly learned from you is that I can be single and not get married and thats okay.I want to move New York city and become an actress like you. I dont want to get married i want to focus on becoming an actress. If you can change the life of a girl like me think what you can do to change the world. God bless you Marlo. We all love you keep doing what your doing what your doing your the best at it.
