Thank you Frannie! I’m up tonight not quite able to sleep and once again find myself here just checking out what’s up. You all…the very accomplished… have made my heart sing by just checking out my site. I am in awe of the jobs and convictions that I read about here on wowowow. What a delight to trade spiritual recipes with all of the women (and men) here today… tomorrow…

The BEST JOB ……….. Being a mom. As for a PAYING JOB…..a tie between coaching gynamstics in the early eighties before my son was born; and in later years, a Guest Service Manager in the hospitality industry. Both positions were quite rewarding.

Linda Clark, I had to re-read your post 17 times to understand the later spelling reference. Please be gentle with yourself. I find you to be insightful and delightful. I would have never seen the typo. Thought it was some kind of trick as I was searching. :)

Linda- Sheesh…..you bother with spelling (and with all these writers and Eng teachers) I just let it fly and don’t even reread….really bad. Oh well. Hmm. So, wouldn’t have noticed.

Administrative Director of the James Beard Foundation, arranging for Chefs from all over the world to come and create culinary masterpieces for the membership. 3. Caterer and theme-party planner. I need 10 pages for this one!!!

Hey Chef Zee …. this is a bit off-topic, but would indulge us with one or two of your favorite things that you prepare for yourself at home? It’s dinner time here in Texas and I’m starving for something new to try! For some reason I’ve been in the mood to cook lately …….. and that’s a rare occurance!

Sure Linda, I’d be happy to. But instead of boring this issue focused community, if you supply your email address I’ll help all I can.

ChefZee…No—-‘bore us’!! I posted Rose Kennedy’s Boston Cream Pie recipe on the RFK thread today. Normally don’t eat deserts and when do prefer something with lots of fruit….but when we lived at the beach and had lobster bakes…must have Boston Cream Pie….would also make strawberry shortcakes (homemade cakes) and Carrot Cake, lemon merinque pie…all homemade. Every friday AM would go to farmer’s market…buy boatlaods of flowers, produce….and then start cooking as company came up for weekend from LA to santa barbara most weeks. Like running a B&B…don’t know how people do that for a living. Fun, but exhausting aft awhile!
