my 1st biz was 10”-20” f/5 newts—-no ‘dob’ stuff, real 1/6 ratio primaries 1/25 wave-front accuracy, real steel machined eq mounts that ‘set up in 1 minute—-2” hollow axes—intended for visual use, the eq-heads were easily pier-mounted for photography. as pre-Chinese dobs, i started with exterior/interior expoxied sono-tubes—-very inferior to an LA ‘tube-maker’ i found—-those were both ‘rock-hard’, made-to-spec, no noticeable ‘toilet-paper’ lines visible, and when ‘glassed in/out’ even ‘weather-proof’—-masterpieces that easily, w/good-seeing hit 100X/per inch aperture—-i’m quite serious, due to the smaller central obstruction of newts vs. SC’s, my use of .oo7 shimstock spiders, my 14.25s blew Celestron 14s away—-then wham, libels, nuisance law-suits, all the normal tricks of bigger cos. bopped me—-to shore-up cash-flow, i founded the ‘giant-binoc’ biz, meanwhile helping this rich-kid, selling oculars from his garage, mr. dieble, Meade’s founder—-for free! dumb. when he was going strong, ready for scope mfg., he asked, ‘should i go after the newt market? i have capital to take-on Celestron’? i told him SCs were the best bet, portable vs. my fave, the 14.25—- then, as now, 6-12 month backlogs were common, for uncommon teles—-we sued and after 5 years and a meter of depositions won our libel case—-attorneys got most—-but years of hassles had already made me ‘toss-in-the-towel’ and a PTSD case—-i was hardly the 1st to crash vs. larger cos. ‘Optical Craftsmen’, ‘Cave-Astrola’ both went down w/6-figure client loses, mine was dinky, but haunted me—-a year of shock, i rebounded, founding other bizs, w/10X the net, this time all ‘inced’—-and would only ship COD—-yet my love remains astronomy—-and who would guess That biz perhaps the most vicious? so call it biz-101? ‘hard-knocks’? as for ‘relevance’ to ‘WOW’? any non-savvy lady entrepreneurs out there, i may save you from critical errors, you otherwise only learn the hard way—-cheers

James, I think that referred to those of us that believe in Gods Words and No we are not to shove it down others throats because it will chase them Away from the desire to have the knowledge of Gods word, It gives them that are not saved a Sour taste in their Mouths if you will, to hear about this from someone else Other Then God, When God is ready for them to come to Him He Will let that person know in a matter of fact way! Unfortunately Some turn and run, Always remember God is a Gentleman, He Will Knock! its up to Us to answer the door! My comment in reference to your Daddy, Yes I believe a Spirit communicates with us and I think that is wonderful, it is the spirit of LOVE coming to you, He(your Daddy) loved you so Much, and He wants you to succeed He wants you to be prepared!
