If you were to receive only one Valentine's Day gift, what would you want it to be?

It’s the Rock of Ages! Hi, Rocky. All is well in the Big City. It was groovy having 60-degree wx this week after 10-below-zero the week before, although it’s down around 32 right. A week or so back, I went outside at 4 a.m. and it seemed so warm, I almost took off my jacket. I figured it must’ve “warmed up” to the mid-30’s. When I got to work, the temp gauge said it was 17. That’s how cold of a winter it’s been. I’m jonesing for spring.
Hey, James the Young. How’s it doin’ on the radio? Jones-ing for spring? Yah, you can say that again. Yesterday the weather here, too, felt like it was in the 60s — everyone was walking around in their shirtsleeves. Felt great! Today, right this minute (7:58 pm ET) it is 19°F and feels colder. Brrrrr. I don’t like to wish my days away (don’t have that many left), but I am looking forward to milder temperatures.
I bought some Narcissus around Christmas time. They bloomed right away and every evening they filled the house with their presence. Harbinger of things to come. They’re almost done now. I miss their perfume …
Get some more! I don’t know much about flowers, other than they’re great. A fond memory: for St. Patrick’s Day in 1991, I sent Jude some green flowers and a card: “To my wild Irish Rose, from the Scottish bloke.” The man who delivered the flowers (she was in another city at the time) was taken aback by how excited she got. She kept the little card.
