Sunday is President George W. Bush's birthday. On this 4th of July, do you have any special birthday wishes for him?

Emma and Majorie,
Coulter’s orginal comment was on this thread and that’s where it should have stayed—as another comment. But now she is
“A Friend Stopped By”.
I agree that the tenor sometimes gets out of control here when people disagree. This is not Charlie Rose. He doesn’t depend on our comments because he is not a website. btw, I checked his archives yesterday and did not find Couter was a guest.
I may be wrong, but I checked under “politics”. Charlie has had many conservative guests on his show. Some within the last few weeks. And he has had many Republicans too.
I know the founders own this site. And they make their money on our comments. So they are loving this whole thing. Cha-Ching!!!!!!!
If Coulter to them is the best of the best for the Conservative point of view, then maybe they think all conservatives are like Coulter. Buckley is turning in his grave!!
Carol, for my part I am not a fan of Ann Coulter. I can’t read or listen to her. As for her being on Charlie Rose, you are probably correct in stating she was never a guest because I would imagine she’d be too outrageous for his audience, and his sponsors would complain.
The only point I was trying to make was that censorship can do more harm than good.
Now a comment/suggestion from Kay Sara (long about p. 30) might be an answer to the censorship/banishment problem. This is part of what she says: “If you don’t want the likes of Ann Coulter on this site- then do not add your two cents. … ”
I bet if we resist all temptation to post on any topic Ann Coulter is involved in, she will fade away on her own. And fast.
We all know the founders/investors were faced with a long weekend, so they threw us a couple of bones. Next weekend it might be Michelle and Cindy again, although they did have a thread entitled “Voters 65-Plus Go Negative on Michelle” put up by the WoW staff. It garnered 17 comments, so maybe that topic is losing its appeal, also.
Has anyone else noticed how often Ms. Coulter appears on morning talk/news shows in cocktail dresses? I was always taught that there was “nothing good” to be said about a woman (you certainly could not use the word “lady”) who appears in public apparently still wearing the previous evening’s “party clothes”.
Well, normally, one dresses like this when they are out trying to get laid, and considering the fact that the neocons that she hangs out with have screwed the entire world, she might just get lucky.
I wish him the hottest seat in Dante’s 9th ring of Hell—where he belongs—-next to Cheney, Rumsfeld and all the other NeoCon criminals (including news and corporate sponsors) that foisted this humanitarian, environmental and economic nightmare on the world for the past 8 years.
Joking about the WMD he KNEW never existed (per bi-partisand Senate Intell Report June 2008)

Turns out George Bush may be a uniter after all.
A remarkable photograph, taken July 1st, of the President of Iraq, the Israeli defense minister, and the Palestinian President talking together.
By contrast, when Saddam Hussein was alive, he was paying Palestinian terrorist to kill Israelis.

George Bush should get credit for making this possible.
Oh, I will miss Star too. Sorry Star, I forgot to mention you earlier.
See, I like Star and she is a McCain supporter.
Gee Bella,
I love the fact that Bush is allowing our soldiers in Afghanistan to die needlessly because he puts all the money in Iraq and our brave soldiers don’t have the proper support they need to stop the Taliban that supports terrorists. That’s very patriotic of him.
By all means, Bella Mia. I referred to the “divider” issue specifically in regard to comments on this site.
Happy 4th.
When Bush first became president, he pulled the U.S. out of the middle east peace process entirely. His invasion of Iraq violated international law and resulted in the deaths of over a hundred thousand people. That these three individuals you mention are meeting in an effort to make the best of a bad situation is to their credit, not to GWB’s. GWB did not think this through beyond Saddam wanted to kill his father and that Iraq had oil. Ask any random sample of Iraqis if their lives are better today than they were in 2002. I am not saying Saddam was any kind of saint. But I think if you measured Saddam’s brutality against that of GWB, you might be surprised at what you come up with. But then, I do not expect to change your mind, just to register my shock that you would credit Bush with any good thing and not with the bad.
While my first thoughts are unsuitable for publication, I share a dream I have. That George W. Bush is convicted of all his crime against humanity and has a very creative sentence. He is confined to the basement of a children’s hospital. He has to work the laundry, cleaning the linen soiled by those who continue to die from his work, day after day. And in his room, each night, a speaker system plays the cries and screams of those children whose terror is his responibility. He spend the rest of his days at this task. And he will never hear the English language again. He is allow no visitors, ever. No communication of any kind, in fact.
And this would be too good for him!
