My my, my …… if my spelling is poor or my friendliness to too sweet, TOOBAD.
I you do not wish to have anyone respond to your posts then you might want to be more specific as to whom you were writing to (at the bottom of each page select CONTACTUS and you will indeed be able to write directly to the creators of WOWOWOW!
By the way, are you by any chance related to the blogger on this site known as “the ole crone, the ole crone”?
Why are you welcoming me to Wow,etc.? Do you work for this website. You seem to think I was writing my comment directly to you — I was writing to the Website ladies who put this thing together — the ladies on the top of the site. I was not referring to your photo as I had not seen it before and when Iried to enlarge your photo I was not able to do that — so I could not see if your hair needed coloring. When I was 46 my hair started to turn grey! My nieces who range from 40 - 43 also have grey hair coming in….ALSO - THEREISNOSUCHWORDAS “CLEARITY” ITIS “CLARITY.”
I’m wondering if you’ve been reading this website, as you say, why you are asking these questions. We all respond to each other was one would if we were at lunch together ad having a good time. That was the spirit of the idea behind this site. It would seem your “bristling” at Linda’s welcoming you (as anyone would do with someone new at lunch) is a little off. We’re just having a good time together here. If you want to join in, fine, but notch the attitude down a little toward your fellow “posters” if you expect a good reception here, I would suggest.
Stella, Stella, Stella…welcome to wow! I hope you continue to come back and read the responses to all the posts on this site. I think you’ll find we are not wax figures or retouched photographs. I believe we are all intelligent, informed and provocative women (and men) with something to share. I enjoy the all the comments whether I agree with them or not. The most important and interesting aspect of this site is that we are speaking up and speaking out, and we all have a voice.
As I see it, I’m many different ages depending on the scenario … as the youngest sibling “age 19” (They’re shocked that I’ve grown up), as a mom “age 30” (I still cool enough to sun bathe at the beach), as a lover “age 40+” (I know how to ask for what I like).
Went to find my messsage — you have comments listed in the wrong order — all other websites list the latest comment 1st iin order to stay current — you have it chronologically backwards…
That’s tough. In many ways, I’m still a teenager. I’ve been working at the same place for 29 years, I’ve owned my own house for 25. But I’ve never married, never had kids, & in many ways I’m still the self-centered know-it-all I was at 15 or so. Except that now I have the funds to be more self-indulgent than I was back then, & since I live alone I have no one nagging me to clean my room or do the dishes.
I thought 30 was good; I’d taken myself to Europe a couple of times & had just bought my house. The only glitch was that since I was the oldest child, my parents decided I was their grand-child producer & started to plan my wedding each time i dated a man for the second time.
Honestly, early 40s. By then my brothers had married & reproduced, so all the pressure was off me. It was before I’d had an ankle rebuilt & a knee replaced; so i was feeling great & got around much better.
Yep, early 40s.
Every year is my best year. As a young teenager, I watched Satchel pitch a ballgame in a little Iowa town way back in the ’30s. He was an inspiration then and he remains so to me.
