Hello Chris ……. Yes, her movie roll performances are stellar! And if my memory serves me correctly …… have you been following the Chicago Cubs?
When I was in high school I use to get all the old, wonderful movies Saturday afternoons on one of our local stations. I miss enjoying them all. (I know there’s the movie channel, but we just don’t want to pay for cable when we only want three channels!!!)
Oh, and yes I am a Cubs fan (i.e. fanatic!)

All of the intelligent, sophisticated, multi-talented women I admire turn out to be Virgos. (So why is the one who raised me such a lunatic???)
Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Lauren! I always thought she had one of THE most stunning faces of the silver screen (as well as Liz Taylor; sorry but physically Marylin never held a candle to those two IMO). And that VOICE - holy hell on wheels!
Ms Bacall you are my hero. You incarnate the spirit of New York City, you got all the ingredients: beauty, style,guts & chutzpah (just love the word is sooooo New York!!!!) & the talent to live a dignified life. But you also have the makings of “une grande amoureuse”. Lucky lady, you got it all!!! Felicidades Señora!!!
