The biggest lie was the last general election when I actually believed my vote would count. All the exit polls said John Kerry was leading. Then the results came in. I guess no one else questioned the result because we’ve had our team of Cheney and his trained monkey. I’m sorry so many people have died for nothing. I voted in the primary and then learned that a super delegate would make a choice for me. To be honest, I’m disappointed in our system and how it can be manipulated. I, and many others have been Bushwhacked these past few years. To quote Paddy Chayefsky, “I’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore.Would anyone care to join me yelling out an internet window and telling the world? I don’t have a camera setup for my computer(because of a series of Bushwhackings at the pump) So I would like to see everyone posting a you tube video stating your mad as hell. Arlo Guthrie said if one person does it, they’ll think he’s nuts, and if two people do it, they’ll think they’re gay and if three people do it they’ll say there’s a conspiracy. But if everybody does it, it becomes a movement. That’s what this country needs, a damn movement because we’re not brain dead and they can’t tramp on our constitution and kill 4,000 of our country’s future for no reason. Is anyone else out there as mad as hell? You should show it.

Oh, I think the electorate will show how mad it is. No one will be able to deny how the hell mad we are if there is something called a landslide.

Terri, my vote in Michigan for the primary is not counting and I had nothing to do with the decision on what nebulous date the Michigan primary would be held. My right to vote being ignored was the “penalty” Howard Dean decided to slap on those who jeapordized our Michigan primary. Somethin’ ain’t right!

When he said “I do” when asked if he agreed with the promises that ended with “…’till death do us part”.

The biggest lie(s) that I have believed were that I was loved for sterling character rather than sterling material.

That the Clintons represented the American working class. And then NAFTA and all the dealings with China came along …

Boyfriend would never cheat on me. To put some sting on it, he got a girl pregnant while dating me. I clung to him. But I was only a fool once. I’d rather stay single, forever, than to ever be put through that utter humiliation, emotional torture, wondering, am the most stupid female in the universe. He showed (I look back) ALL the signs, and, I was so insecure and get what females get when they are insecure and dare to date instead of getting their self-esteem together—which makes all the difference, because I wouldn’t have been so destroyed, maybe, I wouldn’t have clung when he wanted to dump ME. Felt like a laughing stock to him, holding onto a total jerk, what did that make ME? But, only happened once and I like my life today. It was a learning lesson, so, I try to warn other young women, but, they think their jerk is prince charming and they fear, no other guy will ever come along, and, a song goes for me “I ain’t that lonely yet.”

Hello everyone, Well the biggest lie I have ever believed in my life was that America was in the sky above us. When my sister and I was smaller, like about below seven, we used to see the planes go up there into the sky and I would ask my mom, like where are they going and she would say, to America. I remembered once, my sister and I were outside and we saw a plane go by and we were like, theyre going to America in the sky, they are sooo lucky. Then I would be like, what if something falls down from there here on us? And my sister would tell me that we would be lucky cuz American people are so much richer than we are, we Guyanese. It was a big lie developing into something so bad and mysterious, u know. I ACTUALLY BELIEVED IT>> And as I think about it now, I always laugh cuz it seems so stupid, but then, wen I was smaller, everything people did I wondered more about it, and I never stopped to realise that Heaven is up there, how can America be up there too? LOL, I guess I just wanted to share this wid u guys. I know most of u DO live in America, but we caribbean people over here believed that once. MOST OF US DID. Thanks for the question. Love, Felicia
