I too, sleep in a nice bed. As for my jammies, they are usually a pair of jammie pants, with a tank top. Summertime, boy shorts, and tank top. When husband is home, not a damn thing. :)
For spring/summer have a dozen or so v-neck, sleeveless Frette long white windowpane voile cotton nightgowns, white ballet slippers, long white robe…feminine & fresh. Have a big thing for white. As a child saw the famous picture of CZ Guest at her Villa Artemis…made huge impact. Looks like my mother, and always admire my mother’s taste. And it’s everything I most love. Living by the ocean, my son, dogs. Life is perfect with these things. CZ Guest was an ideal.

Nice cotton sleeveless gowns…or my hubby’s cotton t-shirts and a pair of his boxers…or nothing at all. But I always sleep cuddled in my husband’s loving arms! Now ladies, that is sweet!
Nothing, I hate having night-clothes tangled around me. I change the weight of my duvet to suit the season and use a sheet in summer. Got a marble bedroom floor though so make sure my slippers are close in the morning! I don’t like sleeping in A/C either.
I am with Judith Martin, a bed, or the occasional lecture hall seat , sometimes a pew. Night time sleeping flannel or fleece nightie in winter, cotton sleep shirt in summer.
I used to sleep commando, but then I had to move in with my mom so now it is my old oversized US Open tee shirts. I wouldn’t want to shock my 80-something mother!
In the buff…on flannel sheets year round. I love the softness of them…thought the 1,000 count egyptian linens I keep on the guest room bed feel pretty damn good too! I have learned to embrace the power nap…one a day keeps the bitch in me away!!
Used to sleep nude, even when alone. In more recent years I sleep in cotton knit nightshirts, or gigantic t’s. With sensitive skin, the lacy silky stuff is torture, itchy and too hot. My favorite nightshirt is a very old Lands End, faded, a few holes and worn thin. If the house catches fire I’ll be too embarrased to run outside.
I wear heavy fleece top and pants most of the year because I’m always cold. For Christmas, my sister in law gave me an electric mattress pad, and it has changed my life. I can get into a pre-heated bed, and feel instantly comfortable - no shivering.
