I used to prefer in the buff, under covers, on a bed. Now, it’s in MY chair early after dinner and then to bed with PJ’s of all sorts—I take blood thinners and must have it HOT to get to sleep—no more of this “sexy” life—BooHoo! Luckily, my hubby doesn’t mind.

I bet you all would have some great comments for the Change the World section - I was there this morning and didn’t see too many of your names there. This topic is really fun, but your voices are needed….

I sleep in a queen sized bed wearing loose fitting gowns, preferably cotton or silk that are feminine sans frills or geegaws. Where a partner once reigned exuding tension and holding tight to the remote— shattering my senses with sporting events, I now have a neat pile of current reading materials, my crossword puzzle and peace of mind.

Count Snarkula
700 thread-count white (only!) sheets. Your bed is not the place to be thrifty!

Tops - 100% bamboo shirts. They feel like silk and are warm in winter and cool in summer. Bottoms - men’s flannel, the ones that are not pastel and they have pockets. I work from home and some days I wear them all day because if I have company, they look like great flannel pants! In the summer I wear the same men’s bottoms but in lightweight cotton, not pastel, have pockets. Love them! Oh, and I sleep in my bed and sometimes I sleep in the passenger’s seat while we’re traveling in our motor home where we live full-time.

I used to sleep nude 75% of the time. Those days are over; we have small children and I’m trying to teach them modesty. So now it’s a cotton tank nightgown, it’s lightweight, comfortable and doesn’t twist around me when I’m sleeping.

Nothing….no bunching up and feeling uncomfortable.

Absolutely nothing! Love the freedom and the soft sexy feel of high thread count sheets. I also sleep with a fan 365 nights a year. The air movement is great.

I am so down to earth that I don’t need a nightgown or PJ’s. T-shirt and panties for me please. sorry:( are panties to vulgar?

In my mid 70’s with arthritis plus - I sleep in satin PJ’s but noy for the reason you might think. The smooth fabric simply makes it easier to turn over in bed. Works for me.

When I turned 43 a couple of years ago, I seem to sweat in my sleep, although the ob/gyn says I have no other signs of menopause, I wake up with a drenched cotton nightgown and panties I look like I took a dip in a pool! So long to those beautiful short satin night gowns I used to love…. So, to deal with the “glow” of the evening! I am now in the buff. Panties are a real pain! When my 8 year old son is home it is a two nightshirt night, just incase he has a bad dream and sleep on the largest beach towels I can find in my amazingly new bed that I was overdue to get. Leslie is right, sleep is sooooo important. Now, after a 12 year marriage ended in 1994, I still sleep alone. Sweating it out, as they might say! lol!

I LOVE cotton knit nightshirts, such as Lands Eng. Short in the summertime, knee length with long sleeves in the winter. They stretch with me, are never confining, and are cozy.

A red plaid woolen nightie in the winter, and a white cotton nightie in the summer.
