J B, that reminds me of the time my mother and I were in the car and drove by her University, and she said “That’s where Mama went to college.” I was 8 years old at the time and I said, “And it’s still standing?” To give my mother credit, she thought it was hilarious. I couldn’t understand what was so funny.
Watching my 3 Aby cats play always gives me a laugh. Stormy Pants (the goofy boy) always is the clumsy aggressor while Snazzy Mae is the smartest and top cat. Cassie Jo is addicted to cotton swabs and has a superior butt wiggle before pouncing.
I’m an easy chuckler - probably comes from having a quirky sense of humor and from having been an only child surrounded by adults who mostly seemed pretty funny to me. But a real out-loud-hold-onto-your-sides belly laugh? That’s the best! Yesterday I was sitting in a board meeting, very routine, where we were ticking through the agenda, when one of the board members make a remark - sotto voz -that had me laughing so hard I was shaking. Then it became contagious, and everyone on my side of the table was laughing and sputtering, hands over our mouths, eyes diverted from the board Prez. who just moved along, unaware of all the kindergarten behaviour around her. Later, I was watching Boston Legal and laughed (as usual) about a dozen times (gotta love that judge!!). The topper was Jon Stewart - sometimes I laugh at the way he finds himself so funny. Woke up this morning smiling…probably because John Edwards endorsed my candidate yesterday. This mama’s for Obama!
I just turned on Oprah and the show was about Americas Funniest Videos. Oh my, those laughing babies are a hoot. Then they put up pets….. I continue to laugh out loud.
Just finished reading the comments re: the question of a possible Hillary-Obama ticket and the comment made by Deni G asking Beverly Hills Starlet–––”Do you drink?” just made me hoot with laughter.
