One? Singular TV Show? Too hard. There were many that are long-gone that I miss. I miss Johnny Carson; Carol Burnett; Cheers; Mash; Wings; West Wing; Designing Women; Bob Newhart; Becker; Third Planet From The Sun and I miss Walter Jennings. Fortunately, I can still see reruns occasionally of Becker; Designing Women and Mash and I have the boxed series of several of my favorites. PBS is always there for great TV, Masterpiece Theatre; As Time Goes By and The Vicar of Dilbey. I always look forward to Hallmark Hall of Fame presentations which sounds like I watch a lot of TV, which I don’t anymore, but I remember the enjoyable evenings of laughter or quiet absorption of great TV. Remember the Hit Parade?

Sex and The City! Even w/the reruns, I miss new episodes. I lived in Paris for over 4 yrs. and loved it when the HBO (whoosh) logo would come up on the screen. I can’t wait for next wkend., as my gal pals and I have planned a “Girl Scout” outing to see it and then dish over dinner afterward. Of course, being a TV addict, there are many more TV shows that I miss. They just better not EVER take away my Charlie Rose, though!

You folks have great taste, don’t think you’ve missed one that I would have listed except perhaps “WKRP in Cincinnati.” My best buddy and I still say “As God is my witness, I thought turkeys could fly.” and break up! I’ve cried through more Christmas shows of “West Wing” than I can count and cherish each one.

That was one of many great episdes that I laughed til I cried, turkeys from a helicopter and people runnig all over the parking lot trying to avoid the crashing turkeys with that line”As God is my witness, I thought Turkeys could fly.”

The language was raw and rough, but I don’t believe I’ve ever seen more incredible writing and acting than on HBO’s Deadwood. It was Shakespearean and brilliant; one of those shows that you had to rewind or watch twice in order not to miss anything. One day it just vanished…damn. I am already fretful for the day that Boston Legal is no longer on. LOVE that show! Another with brilliant writing and acting, and a platform for political and social statements. I have the Supreme Court episode saved on Tivo (wish I had invented that) so I can watch again and again. Candace, you are an incredible actor, and it is indeed a pleasure to watch you on Boston Legal! I must treat myself to the dvd collection of Murphy Brown. When our house was badly damaged in a hail storm, it took months to get everything put back together. I called our contractor Eldon, because I swear, I didn’t think we’d ever see him leave. I still get Christmas cards from him signed “Eldon”, and that was 13 years ago!

Does anyone recall on show that used to air on Saturday night in the early ’70s called, “The Sixth Sense”. I loved that show, with Gary Collins. Real scary, about the supernatural. I have only vague memories of ‘Dark Shadows’ or ‘The Ghost & Mrs. Muir’. I was born in ‘62, so ‘Lost In Space’ was cool as a kid. ‘H.R. Puffenstuff’ on Saturday mornings, or ‘The Monkeys’. Wow, to be a kid again.
