Frannie: Read Frank Rich’s column in the Times yesterday and click on the link he as on McCain. It’s hard to watch. I’m afraid Frank’s right. I think he’s losing a bit of the old gray matter–––reminds me of Reagan’s blank stare in the beginning of his demise.I hope this is not the case because it would be so humiliating for him. Perhaps he’s just slow on the uptake or/and gets momentarily confused.
Maybe he should fill in with some uh—uh-uhs. Reading some of these posts today, I wish I didn’t know how to use the internet and I don’t really—I don’t Twitter, SEO too well, and use all the bells and whistles. As I have said before, I may while away time commenting on blogs and writing three of them, I don’t want the president My Spacey Facing, texting with world leaders, and popping off all over the place with unvetted opinions and stances. I will have to watch the news even more than I do now!
Star: Can you imagine diplomacy over the internet? It’ll be wonderful, we’ll all have access to these privy conversations. Won’t it be fun when the hackers break through and change access codes and messages.
Let’s get real folks, the internet is for fun and games and raising lots of money for unqualified presidential candidates.
For someone who doesn’t like the insult, you sure are good at dishing them out, Marjorie.
Lorraine, this is a BHO site. I’m just trying to even things out a bit. I notice our token Republican, Bonnie Oliver, is ignoring the whole string of foolishness. She’s the wisest and classiest of all.
Marjorie, Maybe Bonnie O is sitting this one out over at Chez Pannise or the Cheese Board.
Someone above said anyone who votes for McCain is an idiot. Reading that comment put me as close as I have ever been to pulling that lever.
Star,
For someone who knows the ropes inside the beltway, as you purport to, I am surprised that you let your emotions rule your vote.
Would say say emotions have anything to do with the attitude about what McCain supposedly called his wife? That does it for many on this list. Me, Romney putting his dog on top of the car, pure emotion, eliminates him for me. I would write in The Big Leb if Romney is chosen, which I doubt he will be. Politics is ALL about emotion. Does emotion always lead to defensible choices—now that is different.
What was that about Romney putting a dog on top of his car? I didn’t hear about that one.
