Arrested for Throwing Tot From Car, Richard McTear Jr. Explains 'It's a Dirty Game'

Twenty-one-year-old Robert McTear Jr. allegedly threw three-month-old Emanuel Murray out of a car window.

Richard McTear Jr. has been arrested for what could be one of the most shocking crimes in recent memory: throwing a three-month old out of the car window on the freeway — and to his death, cops say.

The 21-year-old reportedly had a squabble with his lover, Jasmine Bedwell, who called police earlier yesterday evening and said that McTear had beaten her and the child, Emanuel Murray, whom McTear allegedly threw against the ground.

As the fighting intensified, McTear picked up the baby, says Bedwell, and hopped into his car. He later threw the boy out the window, say investigators, and Murray was found on the side of the highway, dead, reports a local ABC affiliate.

Cops finally caught up with McTear early in the morning hours and, asked why he would do such a thing, McTear reportedly replied, "It’s a dirty game." Absolutely horrifying …

This is such a tremendously sad and frightening story. I cannot believe that this man would commit such a vicious act on an innocent baby, maybe his own child. He has to be a man with no soul.

Lock him up…no TV…no magazines…no movies…no visitors…no steak dinners…no pen, no paper….nothing but 4 walls and enough baby food to keep him alive..

There a lots more like him, those that would kill our babies, the mothers, the fathers…they’re called terrorists and they are making plans as we speak…

Yeah!  How about a little birth control.  Every young girl who thinks it’s a good idea to get pregnant young because she thinks it is going to solve her problems and get a guy to love her, should have to sit down and listen to this story.  They wouldn’t all end that way, but there is just far too much neglect of children.  A friend of mine is raising her grandchild, the mother never even comes to see him.  It is just stupid.  She thought if she got pregnant, the guy would marry her and they would have a fantasy life as man and wife.  The father has never seen his son and refuses to.  He calls me ‘auntie’ (no relation) and I will gratefully wear that badge.  WTF!

Lots of anger and rage can make people do horrible things. How tremendously sad that anyone would put a child in the presence of someone filled with rage.

Parents need to train their children at an appropriate age to be careful of those people who demonstrate anger.

I never cease to be amazed at the cruelty people are capable of.  And I agree that parents (and in these situations it’s usually the mother) need to do a much better job of shielding their children from dangerous people.

Could this , I am sorry I can not think of a word strong enough to express my disgust for this man and his evil act, Could this be prosecuted as a hate crime? Or will this scum possibly get a lesser sentence than he would have if he were eligible to be prosecuted under the hate crimes law?

My friend Scarlett, a hate crime, as I understand it, is a criminal offense against a person because he or she belongs to a particular group.  The baby was not killed because of being a baby, and therefore this would not qualify under that definition.

I hope he gets death for this.  I am so sick of hearing stories about this unamagineable cruelty toward children..   I have absolutely lost any sense of empathy for what might have happened in this guy’s life to make him, and people like him, capable of doing something like this to a child. 

I hope he dies.  I really do.
