Arrested for Throwing Tot From Car, Richard McTear Jr. Explains 'It's a Dirty Game'

Twenty-one-year-old Robert McTear Jr. allegedly threw three-month-old Emanuel Murray out of a car window.

Richard McTear Jr. has been arrested for what could be one of the most shocking crimes in recent memory: throwing a three-month old out of the car window on the freeway — and to his death, cops say.

The 21-year-old reportedly had a squabble with his lover, Jasmine Bedwell, who called police earlier yesterday evening and said that McTear had beaten her and the child, Emanuel Murray, whom McTear allegedly threw against the ground.

As the fighting intensified, McTear picked up the baby, says Bedwell, and hopped into his car. He later threw the boy out the window, say investigators, and Murray was found on the side of the highway, dead, reports a local ABC affiliate.

Cops finally caught up with McTear early in the morning hours and, asked why he would do such a thing, McTear reportedly replied, "It’s a dirty game." Absolutely horrifying …

Parents especially women need to protect your children. This is horrible. Young women need to get a grip on getting pregnant by these losers who will either kill them or abuse their children. This will continue until people are educated on these matters. That sweet little baby ending his life like someone who threw out trash on to street. How sad for everyone.

I agree Rose. The ignorance factor comes in again. Preaching abstinance doesn’t work. Parents need to educate their children. Parents who are involved and not too busy for their kids are the ones to be applauded.The society has become one of greed. They have to have the boat ,car etc and the kids get lost in the shuffle. Education is so important.

I’ll know this may sound mean but this baby is in a much better place. Back with the angels. This mom didn’t have enough sense to stay away from a guy who says he going to kill your child!! I know it may be hard to get away from a nut. But sometimes you have to lose your mind to get your point across!!!! Mom’s and dad’s have to protect their children. Stop thinking everything is going to play out ok. And ladies if you see signs that a guy is crazy…believe the sign and get away from him.

He had a rap sheet a mile long, the 17 year old Mother had been arrested 10 times…where in the hell was Social Services?? Neither one of them had any business being a parent or even being around a child! I say we throw him from a speeding 18 wheeler and save the tax payers some money. He had an outstanding warrant and shouldn’t have even been on the street. Disgusting.

We have raised a generation of kids who have almost no understanding of the words consequence or responsibility. We make excuses for them, and their peers see them getting away with things and start acting out. This man did not wake up one morning and think he was going to kill a baby. When I was a kid, if you broke a window, not only did you get a "lickin’" from your parents, but the person whose window you broke probably pulled you down the road by your ear to your parents house and then the two of them would talk about how you needed to learn some manners, and you spent the rest of the summer mowing lawns to pay for that window. Where did this time go. Where did the village go that is needed to raise a child? Where did the respect of women go? To think at 17 you can have a baby and it will get you a family? We need saving and changing. We need strong women to lead the way, to be the backbones of families and to show younger women how to put the right foot foward, to become the pillars of their own families. Yes he probably sweet talked her in the beginning, but women need to be shown the point where enough is enough, long before there are screaming arguments. Are we so desparate to be loved, that we will put up with it at any price? What does that say about the family structure around her? Peace and Strength.

This is the most dangerous type of person. He’s a cobra. Aggressive,severe violence, antisocial. His heart rate probaly never went up a beat, he was calm and relaxed. Scariest thing is that he can let go of this situation and move on with his life. The baby was inconsequential, it was a weapon to be used against the mother. I hope there is a death penalty in the state where this happened. If he were ever to be released upon the public he would re-offend and think nothing of it.
