In response to: Driving skills? Handwriting? What do you find is the strongest indicator of someone's personality?

Four things:

1. When they say I look younger than I am.
2. When they say I look thin.
3. When they remember my birthday.
4. When they buy me an expensive gift.

I feel the strongest indicator of someone’s personality is how they treat those that have less than they do. You can still respect someone’s right to be no matter how low they have sunk. When someone yells at a waiter, hairdresser, bagboy it shows a lack of character. When someone abuses a disabled person is shows a personality that I don’t want to be around.

really good question linda. i mean if i guy tells me i look younger, thinner or whatever, i don’t always believe it because they like to flatter to get what they want. but, when the lady at the super market that held my cart for me while i ran back and got the toilet paper i forgot and gave her my place in line, tells me: "you have a 31yr old son? i can’t believe it?" i’m more inclined to believe her as she isn’t out to get anything out of it. i already gave her my place in line and she nicely offered to watch my car in line and she didn’t have to. while i toddled my unwilling and messed up body back to p/u what i originally came for and then forgot (happens to me a lot these days). it’s ppl like that that i believe over just some guy trying to compliment his way into the bedroom.
