Mel Gibson's Rumored Mistress Oksana Kolesnikova Responds

Mel Gibson’s wife Robyn shocked Hollywood yesterday when she filed for divorce from the actor, whom she’s been married to for almost three decades. And today rumors are abound that Gibson was romantically linked to a Russian singer named Oksana Kolesnikova.

The "Lethal Weapon" actor was photographed last month in Costa Rica with a bikini-clad woman believed to be the Kolesnikova. However, celebrity website TMZ tracked down a spokesperson for Kolesnikova, who said there was no affair of the heart.

Sorry to hear about Mel Gibson’s divorce. Somehow Oksana is being linked to Mr. Gibson, but there are no emotional ties between the two that I am aware of. Oksana has in the past entertained Mr. Gibson with her piano music as he dined at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Yes, I definitely welcome the opportunity to set the record straight, our Oksana is not romantically involved with Mr. Gibson.

Court papers reveal that Mel and Robyn, 52, have been separated since August 26, 2006 — a month after Gibson was caught driving under the influence and made a string of anti-Semitic rants.

Like I said on another thread, It’s sad that inspite of all this marriage has been through, it apparently did not have the strength to survive.

I couldn’t be happier to hear that someone, somehow will be taking him to task.  No matter what the reason; he is an anti-semite and his father, as said above, is worse…….if there can be degrees.  However, he’s the one with "star" power and able to get his message out.  It’s a painful, killing message and perhaps, he’ll be getting paid back somehow…..albeit through his pocket.  He is a hypocrit and worse.

Sometimes divorce is a good change. Mine sure was.

Hope she gets lots of money. She deserves that for sure.

I always thought he was not too bright whenever I saw him interviewed.  His actions confirm my assessment.   I find that his actions have really turned me off to his movies.

Mel Gibson’s Church: INSIDE The Traditionalist Catholic LATIN Masses

The actor has been very vocal about his "traditionalist" views, adhering to the Roman Catholic faith as it was understood before the "modernization" by the Second Vatican Council of 1962-1965. ”I go to an all-pre-Vatican II Latin mass," he told USA Today in 2001. "There was a lot of talk, particularly in the ’60s, of ‘Wow, we’ve got to change with the times.’ But the Creator instituted something very specific, and we can’t just go change it.”

So in 2003 the actor decided to help change things back to the way they were, building a chapel in Malibu, Calif. — The Church of the Holy Family. Tucked away in the tree-covered mountains of Agoura Hills, 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles, the rustic church, unaffiliated with the Roman Catholic archdiocese, has a foot-tall crucifix on the altar and the priest keeps his back to the parishioners as he performs mass every morning entirely in Latin. In church, women must wear head coverings.

Any marriage can "have the strength to survive" when the two parties involved are willing to put the marriage and the family FIRST. I realize to many that is a really "pat answer". It also is the truth. Once you are married you work at making it work together. The best thing for children to see is that their parents are actually BEST FRIENDS. All the sex in the world pales by comparison if friendship and commitment are not involved. I am hoping that Mr. Gibson and his wife come to their senses once again, and commit to each other and move on.

As we are all aware, the finest banquet turns to shit. Let’s suppose that these people really loved one another at one time, and perhaps for many years. The pressures on them, from whatever circumstances, caused the result that we all can now see. What the hell do you expect if you marry Mad Max? Then again, maybe there is no permanent happiness on earth. I know for a fact that it’s true, because any condition that stays becomes normal. Any state that is normal is no longer a source of happiness. Look for a new source of happiness and repeat the cycle. It becomes an endless, fruitless quest. So to hell with it, just relax. This was their life programs in action to this point. Was  what Eastwood, and Costner, and Peck, did to their first wives any different?

Regarding his goatee, I think Mr. Gibson is  making a film about the Inquisition, and he’s the one about to be put on the rack.
