Stephen Victor Tallarico was born March 26, 1948, in New York. He is the lead singer of the rock group Aerosmith, which he helped form in 1970. The group moved to Boston, signed with Columbia Records in 1972 and released their self-titled debut album in 1973. Other albums include "Toys in the Attic" (1975) and "Permanent Vacation" (1987). His daughter is actress Liv Tyler.
