He may not have won the GOP’s nomination for the presidency, but that won’t keep him off our list of the sexiest men over 50. Mitt Romney was born March 12, 1947, in Detroit, MI. The Mormon-practicing pol served as governor of Massachusetts from 2003 to 2007. He began his career in business. He worked for the management consulting firm Bain & Company before founding the investment firm Bain Capital in 1984. In 1994, he ran for the U.S. Senate in Massachusetts but was defeated by longtime incumbent Edward Kennedy.
