We can tell he’s sexy with our eyes closed. Oh, that voice! Thomas John Brokaw was born February 6, 1940, in Webster, SD. He climbed the career ladder from weatherman to announcer to local newscaster to reporter and anchor, eventually ending up as the White House correspondent during the Nixon administration and Watergate. He and his co-anchor Roger Mudd were hailed by some as the Huntley-Brinkley team of the 1980s. He has recently temporarily taken over the anchor chair from his late beloved colleague and pal, Tim Russert.
