Just because bright, beautiful summer weather is behind us doesn’t mean our glowing appearances have to hide until next year. When the days get shorter, the temperatures cooler and the weather drabber, sometimes our appearance takes a depressing turn. To squash this ugly trend, we enlisted the help of celebrity makeup artist Sue Devitt, who is also the founder of Sue Devitt Beauty. Mainly not to forget as the days grow overcast and short that sunblock, or sunblock-based moisturizer is still necessary! Having been "blessed" with pale, pale skin, thanks to all my Scots/Irish/Brit ancestors, I learned painful lessons about sun exposure at an early age.
I also tend to "kick up" the cheek color just a little for winter, otherwise when it snows, I disappear entirely!
And this year, I’m determined once and for all to figure out a shade of deep red lipstick that does NOT make me look like a refugee from Clown Camp.
