Is Spain's Princess Letizia Carla Bruni's Fashion Match?

France’s Carla Bruni has for months been the international scene’s most glamorous First Lady. She’s been receiving some competition in recent weeks, first from Michelle Obama and now from Spain’s Princess Letizia. The European women met yesterday and then attended a dinner thrown by the royal family at the Zarzuela Palace near Madrid last night and, as you can see from this picture, they seem as though they might be equally fashionable.
Their daytime apparel was equally competitive, according to the Daily Mail:
Earlier in the day at lunch it appeared that the first round had gone to Spain, with the 36-year-old princess looking stunning in a figure-hugging cerise dress and matching towering heels.
Miss Bruni, 41, might have been regretting her choice of a conservative Christian Dior blue dress — even if it did have price tag of around £1,500 — and signature low-heel shoes from Christian Louboutin costing around £320.
Of course, Bruni shouldn’t try too hard to beat Letizia, for the Princess always has a secret weapon: her tiara. Nothing trumps a tiara. Not even Louboutin heels.

That magenta dress and heels Princess Letizia has on is just outstanding…she definitely upstaged Carla Bruni-Sarzoky who for some reason has become very decorous as First Lady…I think she is terrific.
Here’s Princess Letizia’s amazing wedding…the woman just has outstanding taste:
