Valentino: The Last Emperor's Pugs (Photos)
Valentino’s co-stars in the new documentary about his life are his five adorable pugs.
It’s not always easy being one of the five most pampered pugs in the world. Sometimes your owner wants you to model earrings. Other than that, life is pretty sweet for a pug who belongs to Valentino, the haute couture designer who is the subject of the new film, “Valentino: The Last Emperor.”

Aw, shucks. I thought this was going to about Rudolph Valentino.
Here, for the real Valentino’s sake, is my favorite movie quote of all time:
Valentino (as the White Sheik) is carrying his beautiful co-star into his tent. She says, "Where are you taking me?" He replies (you do the voice!), "Are you not woman enough to know?"
Sam, LOL!!
These five little dogs are soooo cute!
Those pugs are adictive little things. I have three myself. They are the most loving dogs. They want to be wherever you are. If you notice Valentino has on beige when the dog was on his lap. The reason, they shed like crazy. If you can put up with that you couldn’t ask for a more loving companion.
I know the pugs (I have two and one on the way) but who is this Valentino guy???
Valentino is, arguably, one of the greatest fashion designers to ever live. His own line has been worn by many of the world’s famous and fabulous women: Elizabeth Taylor, Sophia Loren, Elizabeth Hurley, Joan Collins, Oprah Winfrey, Claudia Shiffer and more socialites than you can fit into the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel. A year or two ago he retired after 45 years in the business. The documentary "Valentino: The Last Emperor" details the last year of his career. He is a fashion icon. Always generous with the press, his favorite ladies and total strangers. He’s a swell guy.
