Yes, I know more women my age that just buy whatever is on sale at the supermarket instead of the more expensive brand skin preps that they bought before 45 years. As for makeup, when I buy, and I use to buy EL, it is just awful on my skin. I think the look is more akin to The Joker aux naturel than the well cared for woman of my age bracket. These makeup companies need to get a grip and understand that the majority of women are not going to go have a skin peel and face lift the minute they hit 40 and yet we still want to look and feel comfortable in our lives. It’s time for them to pay attention to us or lose our money they could be earning.

the mark-up on makeup and cosmetics is quite high. sold to you by someone is a white lab technicians coat. come on..

do a bit of research online and find the best, most inexpensive things that work.

I agree, Michele. However what gets me shouting at the TV are the miracle cream ads that say they’ve eraced all of the model’s wrinkles in just 8 weeks. Trouble is, the lovely, 25 year model NEVER HAD ANY WRINKLES in the first place! Of course their product works just fine on her.

Actually I need the sun. I have psoriasis and the sun does help to dimish it, not cure it but it does help.

None of the above, although my lungs can be affected by air pollution.

It’s also for men who love women and/or men that think as well as women or/and men that are just interested in reading what smart women have to say and add their dish of dimes.

James - Just catching up with wOw, and I totally agree with Phyllis.  My computer is finally repaired and "up and running."  Hope all is well with you.  Patty.

Patty, I’ve been exhausted with the launch of the new radio station. You can listen to it (and perhaps me late afternoon at times?) live via this stream: http://radiotime.com/station/s_27348/WJRW_1340.aspx  . Will yack more with you in a while, when I have a moment. Take care!

James - Much success with the launch of the radio station.  Of course I’ll listen in to WJRW.  The "J" in the call letters indicates your involvement - correct?  Patty

James, even with my famous C Crane CC radio, I don’t think there’s the remotest possibility that I can catch your new station WJRW _ 1340, particularly between 4:05 and 6:00 pm ET. Maybe very late during the night. However, knowing you are on it will keep me trying until I convince myself that it can’t be done. Good luck and great success in your newest venture. I know that that is your intended goal, and isn’t that what WJRW stands for ? (What James Really Wants).
