Hi C jay. I think some of us are just happy to talking about something…anything…other than Michael Jackson!
You make a good point, though. Perhaps "laid eyes on" should have been worded differently. Even aside from "inner beauty" there are qualities I find attractive that have nothing to do with sight. For instance, I am attracted to certain types of voices. I have always loved to hear Lauren Bacall speak. As for men, the actor Charles Boyer’s voice just sends me. I don’t even care what he looked like.
Thank you, DB - I agree somewhat, however, I more highly value many of our sisters, here on this site. We have (as you infer) a greater perspective that "Hollywood" types (that grew up in spas), and the limited capacity to drool over relatively insignificant people in society who, in fact, have little to do with humanity itself, much less do much for same in spite of their PR leaks about their philanthropic endeavors and adopting the poor homeless from other nations (leaving our babies on the streets of the USA).
That being shouted, I hear you when it comes to the voice; perhaps as a lifelong vocalist (soprano) and one who adores real music compositions, I have always had to be careful about falling for a voice, although I certainly can see who’s behind it (just not fully - a face). Here’s one for you - I want to preface this submission by adding that I truly detest recordings of great works but this, indeed, is special (and since it is a favorite poet of mine …):

Hmmm. Tough question. I’d say that Gwyneyth Paltrow at the Golden Globes on the night if her big win was just lit, incandescent.
Interestingly, in a room filled with nearly every movie star imaginable, including a still-dashing Gregory Peck, I was taken aback by how old-world handsome Tom Selleck is. He was just sitting and talking to Holly Hunter and turned his head toward her. Terribly strong, dark and I think more real looking, sans his mustache. And I’ll never forget the droll look on Antonio Banderas’ face as he watched the sweat rain down the face of an overweight mogul (who shall remain nameless) because he was so kerfuffled to be standing thisclose and gabbing with Melanie Griffith.
But I have friends as beautiful as all those guys.
