I hope they’re just nincompoops…  nincompoops can be dealt with and the damage repaired.  For me, this administration straddles the responsible and irresponsible.

I noticed the same thing as I watched the interview.  A grin or a toss of the head and it was Teddy, the father.

Young Teddy appears grounded and easy to listen to, but I don’t think he has "fire in the belly" like his father.  That notwithstanding, I think if he ran for Senator in Massachusetts within the next ten years or so, he’d have a good chance.  Of course, he’d be pushing a fellow Democrat aside.

The Republicans have been left out of discussions relative to the health care bill.  Their amendments are not allowed, they were not invited to discuss the lastest enormous spending bills and budget.  When Republican congressmen are continually side lined or overlooked, the constituency they represent is right beside them.  That’s a lot of Americans to be shut out of the process.

If your reference is to that Wilson guy, well okay, we all heard him…  but what difference did it make in anyone’s daily life?

The Democratic way.  As long as they can get away with pushing the blame on the previous administration, the Dems will spend like fools…  and tax the working class into oblivion.  Ever wonder why Obamacare is so desperately important?  Gotta pass something… anything… as soon as possible.  Between Pelosi and Dean, I’m beginning to think the whole party is a little bit on the edge.   

Xiulan:  I agree that liberalism is a deadly disease of the mind.  I believe conservatism is all that will save us.

People just don’t want to listen to Obama, anymore.  They don’t believe him, and that’s it.  Even David Brooks was noting that last night on the PBS News Hour.  He just kept shaking in head in disbelief at the tactics. 

Now, Michelle is on the road trying to sell Obamacare.  If Obama can’t do it, Michelle really can’t do it.  It’s becoming a side show.

deber:  Nancy Pelosi…..third in line for the Presidency!!!   What a basket case!   Second in line is good ole Joe Biden…chameleon….changes his direction every day!  

Let’s pray for Obama’s continuing good health.  Things could be a lot worse.

Mel:   There really was very little difference in Obama and Hillary’s platform.

As an Independent, I don’t vote for a platform, per se, I vote for the person.  Hillary was someone we knew…  and even though many people strongly disliked her, I didn’t.  At the time, I thought out of the candidates running in the primary, she was the best shot.  She had experience, she was/is smart and understands government through and through.  Then I watched the Dems stomp all over her.  Those in power like Howard Dean allow it to all happen.  At that point, my mind said, Never again with a Democrat.  Now, I think I understand better what was going on…  Obama would be perceived as untouchable by virtue of his race. 

And that is my take on it.  You can call me a liar, a racist, whatever, but that is my story and it never changes.

I saw the video several times.  I saw the Rev. Wright video several times, also.  If you truly want to believe that Obama is failing because this country is racist, because that is the bottom line in this discussion, then you’re welcome to that opinion.  We’ll see how it all turns out.

That would just too logical.  American Whites are to be continually embarrassed and ashamed by our (collective our, not you and I) whiteness.  Others are astonished when we attempt to fight back. 

Racism and tribalism exists all over the world.  It is a fact of life.  Horrible wars have been fought over this phenomenon.  I’m tired of it, we’re all tired of it, but I doubt it will ever go away.
