Margo Howard: The Origins of Obama Rage?

deber:  I believe his democratic party has sold him out and created this racism language.

I think so, too.  Shame on them.

Margo Howard: The Origins of Obama Rage?

Count:  How in touch are you with the African American community?

For the past 25 years, I’ve lived amongst Cape Verdeans…  I shop in their neighborhood…  I belong to the same YMCA that they belong to…  share the same local government with them…  have had many, many serious conversations with some of them over the years.  They are great people.

Prior to the Civil Rights movement, there was a terrible divide between the races.  I thought that America had made meaningful strides towards fairness for everyone, but now all the old wounds have been opened up, and it has become nasty in some areas.  Luckily, my neighborhood hasn’t changed.

Mel:   …don’t tell me you are a independent again,

I’ve been an unaffiliated voter all my life and so have been my parents.  And my children are Independents.  Why would I lie about that and why are you suggesting I am a liar?  The reality is that there are more registered independents than there are registered Republicans.  Why is that concept so hard to understand?

About racism:  of course there is racism out there and tribalism of all kinds.  People have been fighting since people could fight.  If the Dems want to believe that the discussion is all about tribalism or racism, then I guess that’s their tactic.  However, they are inciting old feuds.

Zainab:  …white privilege

So what is white privilege?

Margo Howard: The Origins of Obama Rage?

deber:   …we should never again elect a black President.

I sincerely believe Obama has done a lot of harm to the African American community.  Hard to tell if he’s lost control of the situation or he’s feeding it, but he has created a big divide in America that wasn’t there before he came into office.

Take Back America!

Thank you S. J. Morgan for posting this, and thank you Lloyd Marcus for writing it.

Margo Howard: The Origins of Obama Rage?

S. J.  I’m sick of the insinuation that anyone who opposes the Obama administrations policies is a racist!

That is the last card the Dems have to play.  If Obama doesn’t do well, it’s because we’re all racist.  Well, guess what, that dog don’t hunt.

Margo Howard: The Origins of Obama Rage?

Count:  Poor education, long time family beliefs, the need to feel superior to someone, anyone?

What about Rev. Wright and the racism he preached to his congregration?  What about the kid that was recently beat up on the school bus by black kids?  You mean that kind of racism?  You bet it’s rampant.

Margo Howard: The Origins of Obama Rage?

Margo:  I think Obama and his supporters have been too willing to turn the other cheek – an admirable impulse in normal times.

Turn the other cheek?  In what way?  Obama’s supporters have made a mission out of bashing Sarah Palin and her family… George Bush and everything he did… every Republican until they pushed back.

How many times have the 47% who voted against Obama heard that the Dems won, suck it up, get over it, stop whining, we’re in charge now.  What Obama is reaping is what he and his supporters sowed.  How many in-your-face insults did the Dems expect to hand out before the party that lost would rear up?

This is not about race, this is about the Dems not being able to handle success.  Winning was not enough, they had to demonize the Republicans.  Well, I guess it’s not working.

wOw Reports: What News Matters to You – And Why?

Lee:   No…they voted to go to war.

LOL. So true.

wOw Reports: What News Matters to You – And Why?

barrett:  i wonder what all the crazy, republican right folks are doing here?

Talking to the loony left, I suppose.

wOw Reports: What News Matters to You – And Why?

phyllis:  …Some people just can’t believe a black man is president and will never accept it."   Maureen Dowd

Well, Maureen, much like yourself, that’s getting to be a tired, old song.

wOw Reports: What News Matters to You – And Why?

barrett:  GOOD SOURCES!

And don’t leave out C-SPAN and C-SPAN2.  For every report on the Democrats, there is a report on the Republicans.  And often the Conservatives.  They are the best in being fair.

PBS tends to be liberal minded, but not disgustingly so.

wOw Reports: What News Matters to You – And Why?

phyllis:  But I, like you, barrett, am also embarrassed and ashamed.

Riding that high horse again?  If you’re kicking Sarah Palin and her children around or George Bush or all Republicans, life is good for the high riders — no reason to be embarrassed or ashamed.  Hypocrisy, plain and simple.  Either that, or total lack of introspection.

wOw Reports: What News Matters to You – And Why?

Scarlett:  We are all racists.

The race card is the Democrats’ last hope.  You’ll see a lot of it before this is over.
