Well said, Mugsy. I have a related question. When one is made to “swear on the bible” to tell the truth in court, why is it always assumed that everybody believes in the bible or god? This really annoys me.

In the small city of Fruita, Colorado girls as young as 8 are having oral sex in elementary school. They don’t look at it as sex because there is no intercourse. When I used to live in this place, my husband and I became friendly with an 11 year old girl who was our neighbor. She used to tell me about the younger girls in her school and the daily sex that was happening. I believe that oral sex among elementary school girls and boys is rampant in our society. They see it as another way of gaining acceptance among their peers. Most adults don’t want to believe this is going on.

My husband and I live full-time in a motor home and travel around the country for our business. Needless to say, there is not much private space. Mine is my “office,” which consists of my desk and chair which fit perfectly into one of the slide-outs. My husband never looks on my desk or sits in my chair. I even have a piece of crewel work that I did a long time ago for my old office that says “my room” (even though now it’s not really a room). His private space is the 24 foot trailer that we tow with his work truck, work bench and equipment inside, which has taken the place of his garage. It’s an interesting adventure.

Tops - 100% bamboo shirts. They feel like silk and are warm in winter and cool in summer. Bottoms - men’s flannel, the ones that are not pastel and they have pockets. I work from home and some days I wear them all day because if I have company, they look like great flannel pants! In the summer I wear the same men’s bottoms but in lightweight cotton, not pastel, have pockets. Love them! Oh, and I sleep in my bed and sometimes I sleep in the passenger’s seat while we’re traveling in our motor home where we live full-time.

Agree with Maggi. But my strongest advice would be to find out as much as possible about women’s history and how we got to where we are today. Without knowing about our journey and how hard some worked for equality and many of our freedoms, we take too much for granted. Realize that many women are still not free.
