 AMEN to all of that Liz! Except for the part about forgetting one’s dreams - 8 yrs ago I got certified to be a personal trainer. (Working out 2 hrs a day 6 days a week was a huge inspiration for wanting to help others get healthy!) Moved to AZ - and THEN 9/11 happened and no one was hiring trainers.  Life took a different turn - and voila - in Nov. last year injured my knee, had to have surgery and of course PT and got re-involved in the business of exercise. Now (with 70th birthday approaching in a week) I’m going to get re-certified and get back to my dream of helping people - especially the "elderly" - discover the joys of exercise to live long and healthy lives. I’m truly excited and looking forward to the "usta wuz" of many years ago - even the grueling study and testing required!

Okay - so this is sooooo totally embarrassing - (BUT I can set the time AND record on two different VCR’s - at the same time no less.) however I am sadly lacking in the iPod department and I deeply feel the lack!! Especially at the gym - where my archaic Walkman CD player has to suffice.  Have a "special" birthday coming up next month and dropped many several appropriate hints so hopefully I will soon be in the NOW century! We had our "big" trip last year - a memorable Hawaiian week-long cruise (his first ever cruise!) around the islands (that I think we are still paying for) and since WE too own our own business - it will be nose to the grindstones this year! But my kids are throwing me a blow-out birthday party next month - so I’ll make that a vacation/celebration!
