Ann Coulter's Birthday Wish for Bush (and a Michael-Moore-Free Definition of Patriotism)

Well, I am outta here - not because of Ann, but because of all of you censoring sourpusses. In all of my 77 years I have never come up against such ill-humored people.

What a nice kind “compassionate democrat” spirit you have. Ann is great looking. How do you look?

How do you regard their America-hating friends, the Pastor and the Weathermen, etc.?

Excerpt from Ann Coulter’s biography: “Ann Coulter graduated cum laude from Cornell in 1984, and went on to receive her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she was an editor of The Michigan Law Review. At Michigan, she founded a local chapter of the Federalist Society. She also received training at the National Journalism Center. After practicing corporate law for four years, she became a congressional aide in Washington, D. C. in 1994, working as a staffer to Republican Senator Spencer Abraham, who served on the Senate Judiciary.”

Marlo Thomas's Simple Suggestion for Bush

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Mr. President, Thank you for keeping us safe since September 11.

Ann Coulter's Birthday Wish for Bush (and a Michael-Moore-Free Definition of Patriotism)

You women are so right – Ann Coulter is no Molly Ivins or Ann Richards. THANK HEAVENS. You dems amuse me no end. You really love free speech and squawk about it all the time, as long as it is your own. You want Ann Coulter banned from this site, not so much for her language, but for her views. If she were spewing vile stuff just like Al Franken, Randy what’s-her-name, Michael Moore, etc, rant against repubs, you would cheer her on. Well, I assure that I never cared for Ivins or Richards’ opinions or their nasty comments which you think are fine, but I never dreamed of demanding that they be censored. Good grief, it is really a pity that you are all so small minded. I will tell you something about Ann Coulter. She is very, very compassionate and, like me, grieves for the unborn babies who are killed up to and including the last month of pregnancy, unlike the “compassionate” dems who call it a woman’s right to choose. How about choosing to use contraceptives, and if you do not bother to do that, then how about making the sacrifice and carrying the baby to term (for a few months of your life) then putting her up for adoption? There are thousands of couples who wait to adopt a baby. I used to volunteer at Birthright, a wonderful organization that helps women who want to keep or give their babies up for adoption, and we would often receive phone calls from people wanting to adopt, because the waiting lists at adoption agencies were so long, but since we were not an adoption agency, we were not able to help them. Why do you think couples have to spend a lot of money to go to Africa and other countries to find a baby to adopt? So – who is non-compassionate and non-intelligent? Ann ROCKS!

Mark Hillman, re your bigotted, uninformed, creepy comment: “Israeli’s and their sympathizers tentacles that control most of our institutions to the point where we are despised the world over and quite bankrupt as well,” please clear you head, read some real history books and start all over again. LONG LIVE ISRAEL, and thank you, the Jewish people for the Old Testament, With love, a Christian (Mormon)

Laura, thanks for your comments. I also noted Joan Juliet Buck’s elitist remark about “those weird people in Maine,” ha, ha.
