Obama Tries to Sell Health-Care Plan, But Others Still Worry About Medical Bankruptcies (Video)

Michelle Malkin a JOURNALIST?

Obama a CON MAN?

"Obamalove" becoming BUYER’S REMORSE??

Oh hahahaha ladies, y’all just crack me up!  All your wishing and posting and prognosticating will NOT make it so.  But, by all means, carry on!  This is America, and there are no consequences for the exercise of that safe anonymous free speech.  (In this forum, often you are even spared having to read candid reactions to your "opinions."  How merciful!)

L.C.  Anytime!  (And I hope you have a chance to read my response to C Hardy before it disappears.)

C Hardy

There is sharing of opinion/feelings, and then there is the perpetration (for some it amounts to 15 HOURS a day) of posting misinformation and negative spin.

I have a LIFE, (I run a working farm) and am neither able nor inclined to post my thoughts for hours every day.  So, if you are scrolling along and you see someone repeating the same negative garbage over and over again, and no one is here to post the FACTS, or a different opinion, how do you interpret that?  Several of those who specialize in negativity have repeated the allegation MANY TIMES that, because no so-called "LIBS" showed up to refute and/or contribute, it must surely be because the opposition has no valid argument, and therefore our "silence" proves their "point."  If some one points out that a comment seems smug, holier-than-thou, and based on inaccurtate or biased information, is that a put-down?  Is it hatred?  Or is it a valid observation intended to correct the record and provide a different perspective?  If one point of view is allowed to dominate, (which is what happens when only the opposing comments are removed) then this is no longer a discussion, it is a propaganda tool.

It seems that some of our voices are being "managed" out of the discussions recently, L.C. so for the record, with the hope our opinions will help neutralize some of the disgusting repetitive disrespect being posted here lately, I say:

AMEN!

President Obama to Pitch Health-Care Plan to American Medical Association, But Will It Sell? (Video)

Indeed, Amanda…..as well as those who have an aversion to spin, and prefer to base our opinions on FACTS!

Always appreciate what you have to say, MK P.  I do not have the "free" time some of the haters have available to post around the clock but I do try to provide a counter-point of view whenever possible.  And it is gratifying when others add their "voices" as some have done here…..helps to keep things in perspective.  THANKS

Hi Lucinda, I disagree with that post as well.  (Actually it is a cut and paste and there is additional "information" in the source if anyone is interested:

Hello Andrea, I appreciate your thoughts on this subject.

I have posted this link in another thread, but it does present an interesting perspective on the gun issue so I want to post it again here as food for thought.  Suzanna Hupp speaks from experience and makes a thoughtful and compelling case for gun ownership.  (I join Ms. Hupp as a citizen who is adamant about our right to bear arms.)

When I hear the "get rid of all guns" arguments, I remember what my hubby always used to say:  "If guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns."  Now THERE’S a scary truth!

Dream-bashers indeed, Ms. Georgia……you have nailed it again.  Half-empty glasses and proud of it!  (I know you will be neither surprised nor conflicted by the post that attempts to alter your observation….as you said, "Bless their little hearts, they can’t help it….")

Obamacare Gets Poor Diagnosis From CBO, by Liz Peek

Re the Radio/TV dinner,  a different opinion: I found Obama’s humor totally smart and endearing.  I am so grateful to have a real human being running the country and  I cherish his ability to step away from the gloom and doom on occasion.  I am constantly amazed at the way he is handling the unprecedented chaos he inherited.  Absurd disparaging comments about our President do not change reality.  He is doing a fantastic job steering our country back on course.  How sad that some have lost any sense of humor or positive perspective.   It is probably true what "they" say on this subject:  We are all about as happy as we decide to be.   I am happy and hopeful and loving his jokes!  Plus, LAUGHING IS HEALTHY……my mom says so!

Who is your favorite TV dad?

I really enjoyed the fabulous father "Doug Lawrence," (James Broderick)  on  "Family."

Actually deber, that "buyer’s remorse" myth has been exposed as wishful thinking and debunked.  There must be a malfunction in your crystal ball!

Thanks DeBurca…..yes we are…..THRILLED and PROUD!  I appreciate that you, and others continue to "remind" the handful of wishful thinkers that we worked hard to get some real leadership in the White House, and this "buyer’s remorse" fantasy of theirs is really quite pathetic.  It used to irritate me, now it just makes me snicker.  Such petty toothless little illusions.
