Liz Smith: Sarah Palin's Ex-Almost-Son-in-Law From Hell

It’s time for President Obama to roll up his sleeves and get to work.  Our ship is sinking fast.

Hillary Says 'Zero' Chance for Another Run for President (Video)

I’m so weary of this election, I can’t think about four or eight years from now. Whatever Senator Clinton decides to do in future, she’ll have my utmost respect and support.

McCain Roasts Obama, Obama Roasts McCain: It's a Gentleman's Club at NYC's Al Smith Dinner (Videos)

Senator McCain was great. His references to Hillary, Bill, MSNBC, That One/The One, were particularly amusing, yet peppered with truth. He shined last night. I’m glad for him.

Who won round 2 of the presidential debates last night?

Senator McCain won on facts, but that doesn’t matter in this superficial society in which we live. Looks, charisma matter. Senator Obama will win ‘the part’.

Who won Thursday night's debate?

Ding…Ding…Ding… The winner was Governor Palin.

Margo Howard: Thanks, Sandra Bernhard, for the Palin Jokes. Like We Needed This

Elizabeth Edwards Talks Health Care, Mum on Affair

It’s unfortunate that Elizabeth Edwards did not step up to the plate and endorse Hillary Clinton when Hillary needed it. We know that she supported Hillary’s health care plan. This election, I will vote my wallet. Nearing retirement, I choose to keep my money rather than give it up without my consent. Over the past 30 years, I’ve paid tens of thousands of dollars for local school taxes (I have no children), social programs (I never used), and more. I’ts my turn now. Personal donations to churches and/or other charities of my choice will happily continue.

Whoopi Goldberg Reaches Out to Readers

I listen carefully when Whoopi and Elisabeth, respectively, speak. They stay on point, without making sarcastic or crude comments for a laugh. Why isn’t the Asian community represented on The View? I agree that Elisabeth should not have mentioned Michelle Obama’s “off-limits list” outside the workplace. (I expect that she has regrets for letting that cat out of the bag.) However, now that we know, is there anything on the list that could affect our vote on November 4th? Have the McCains submitted similar lists to The View? Overall, I support full disclosure during presidential elections.

Whoopi Goldberg Reaches Out to Readers

Senator McCain was a brave soul to go on The View yesterday. As a fan of The View since day one, I was particularly taken aback by Ms. Walters’ bullying behaviour. (Perhaps she’s upset because she didn’t get “the get”?) The rolling eyes, sarcastic looks (sans Elisabeth) were unprofessional and mean-spirited. Ask questions by all means, but be respectful to your guest.

Biden: Clinton May Have Been 'Better Pick Than Me' for VP

You can’t make this stuff up. Senator Obama blew it by not selecting Senator Clinton as his V.P. Wait until you see President Clinton and Senator Obama together in Harlem today. President Clinton looks totally uninterested; Senator Obama looks sick. Not an ounce of energy exudes from either individual. Smoke and mirrors isn’t going to work for this union, folks.

Whoopi Goldberg Reaches Out to Readers

All around me, there are successful individuals of all races. They work in academia, the corporate world, entertainment, politics, sports, and more. They studied hard, worked hard, and sought opportunity. This is the American way. It’s time to look beyond skin color and move forward, as many already have.

The wowOwow Reader Forum on Governor Palin

Diana, you’ve given those of us “sitting on the fence” much to think about. “It’s the issues, stupid!”, isn’t it. Thanks for your post.

Sarah Palin, Governor of Alaska Reportedly McCain's VP Pick

I, too, noticed the lip kiss, and it wasn’t with the Mrs.
