What one book must all young women read before they turn 21?

It’s available on Amazon.com. should you wish to read it again. Enjoy!

Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones, D-OH, Dies at 58

She was a great, great lady. Angels unaware…

Women's Group Wants MSNBC's Chris Matthews Fired

ANDREA MITCHELL has her own show on MSNBC at 1:00 p.m. If you’re an OBAMA supporter, she’s your woman. SHUSTER looks like LUCY from PEANUTS when he speaks. Had he made an inappropriate comment about an OBAMA child, would he still be working at MSNBC? MORNING JOE and HARDBALL, respectively, cause me angst, but I watch anyway! Forget COUNTDOWN. Olbermann is downright mean.

Hillary Clinton to Speak Convention Night, Supporters Plan Nationwide March

Obama is slipping in the polls. Off-speech, particularly at Town Meetings, he doesn’t shine: “They say…” “They’re gonna say…” Enough empty rhetoric; cut to the chase. President Clinton was a popular and effective president. He left this country fiscally sound and more. Now, he can’t be anywhere near the Oval Office? Such treatment from his own political party is appalling.

Not necessarily a “must read”, “The Box Car Children” left quite an impression on my sisters and I back in the day.

Obama Camp Fires Back at The Obama Nation

Although I was a Senator Clinton supporter, Senator McCain’s performance at the Saddleback Church event on Saturday night gave me new insight into this individual. His answers were direct; he was humorous, and he was compassionate. One might surmise from “Dreams From My Father” and “The Obama Nation”, that we still don’t know the full story regarding Senator Obama’s background. Be that as it may, my heart goes out to him for having been abandoned by his biological father and, for the most part, his mother. There must be a lot of pent-up anger and sadness there, for good cause.

wowOwow Photo Gallery Salutes Madonna's 50th Birthday

Madonna calls attention to herself in an unladylike sort of way. No “salute” from me.

Think Again, Obama

Obama-Clinton ticket. Two, two, two firsts in one!

What feels better: forgiveness or revenge?

Everything goes full circle. Whatever you put out there, comes back to you. I choose forgiveness.

Who's Really Dishing the John Edwards Dirt?

Why is the CLINTON name brought up whenever something goes wrong? Can’t we move on?

Where Have All the Good Neighbors Gone? by Jane Green

Much depends on what you and your neighbors have in common: children, for example. Once the children move on to college or careers, annual block parties and holiday parties, etc., often become a thing of the past. You may not interact with your neighbors as often, but you can count on them should there be a need. New families move in and everything starts up all over again.

'What if?'--Would Hillary Be the Nominee if Edwards Hadn't Lied About His Affair?

Jim Bakker was a simpleton from the back country. Fame and fortune came too fast, and he didn’t know how to handle it. Overall, he has done a lot of good for people.
