I don’t think Barack could allow the Clintons that kind of power, and I do believe the Clintons would use that position to promote their own agenda. Barack has much to offer. Brooke, The brilliant Doris Kearnes Goodwin points out in “team of Rivals” That Wm. Seward was early on the presumptive nominee for the fledgling Republican party! What happened? Over confidence and Lincoln’s humble strategy. There was turmoil throughout L’s term. Chase and others often positioning themselves for the eventual undoig of Abe. But Seward became the greatest asset Lincoln had at his side. It’s an enormous blow to this candidate, but she is wise, and seasoned, and respected, so she will have to find a way to purchase Alaska again. She’s not finished by any stretch. Hillary is a carpet baggerand it’s not clear that New Yorkers would support her there. If Renata IS correct and Hillary will be wrecked as NY senator, then where will she take her sideshow to next? Don’t be insulted here. I’m just curious about where Hillary truely calls home? The white house seems like a gated community that ain’t available to her at this time.

Dear Alias, I for one embrace Hillary as a formidable democratic power. I am truly hopeful that she will employ all of her years of experience and strength as a leader in the American heirarchy to further the causes of this party and the people she serves. Not just Hillary supporters. I fervently believe that Hillary will be absolutely insurmountable as a power in the senate for another 24years if she desires. That said; it is not a denunciation of her history or her effort. Barack simply inspires a real vision of the hopes I feel for the world at large. All the world is clammmoringabout the possibilities of a new voice for America. You cannot possibly think that Hillary is some shrinking violet that President Obama will simply disregard. She lost the nomination. She regains respect galore if she takes a bow and comes out swinging against the enemy within (read republican goons)! Hillary miscalculated the new world order. In 1960 when JFK was elected, global population was 3 billion people. America was clearly a leader in the economic and technical arena. The world looked heavily to USA for solutions to the multitude of ailments and traumas. Today there are still many traumas and dramas, but America faces these challenges with 6billion people who have other possible solutions. The world has changed America is tuning in. America today needs the youthful sollutions that have been ennormously stimulated by Obama”s candidacy! Just look at the mean age in the most populated countries in the western hemisphere. The problems and the solutions reside in the same demo. The future is there. Lets get on that wave.
