Deber…I value and appreciate your giving me a window on your world. It is, however, presumptuous for you to define for me my intentions. You are far to quick to label and assume. I don’t expect or wish or "intend" that the opposing views go away. It is just that an ounce of constructive discussion, especially on this site, would be worth so much more than all the pounds of divisiveness….both "sides"…. That’s all I’m ever really hoping for. Not that any of us know how to earnestly do that. But when you take time to speak about how you "got here from there"….like your post about your family above….it helps.

Dear deber…now this is funny….like we (not singling out you, mind you) WE are spending "our" time reading the classics, Mozart playing softly in the next room,  helping children diagram sentences with perfect penmanship all day and evening…..Is our totally engaging all consuming daily endeavor at wow anything other than glorified text messaging and game playing? All day long? Talk about role models….And would you have your children/grandchildren be privy to any of the anonymous vitriol that Nana writes with her friends?
