Dear MC…The family values din will continue as long as there are such gifted drummers. We can agree on the human condition thing….I don’t care whose "crow is the blackest"….and…"black" is in the eye of the beholder, isn’t it?

My tolerant, loving, Christian grandmother, when told of some unwanted scandalous pregnancy, or embezzlement, or bold-faced lie, or pride going before a fall, or any other human foible would always say…"Such a TIRED old sin, darlin’…makes me wish we could come up with a new one…" As a teenager, I tried to find a few new ones….didn’t work out. Why don’t you give it a shot..? 

Dear MC…I said not one word about whose hypocrites were better or worse than….and yet, you’re off and running banging that same old rusty pot and kettle. Clearly, NO hypocrite understands hypocrisy with all its hurtful, hateful, harm….else why would they engage in such repellent behavior? 

The point, as expressed in many of the sub-topic comments here, is not us and them, but that the H word sucks.

I think you’re skating on thin ice when you drag in the Kennedys and their friendship with cardinals. After all, some of the worst hypocrites presume that no less a chum than god speaks through and for them. Remember what Molly Ivins said…"If god, in fact, speaks through the bible-thumpers,  at least god could get noun-verb agreement right…"

Dear MM..I had to take the tiny granddaughters to the dentist last month…signing them out at the boondock elementary school, etc…..horrible….like I was a criminal or something….ripe for an amber alert…scary…fingerprinting….

Anyway..when we had to sit and wait at the dentist’s, they played the kid games on the available gadgets and I got to read the ONE magazine..one…."People" Magazine…… (Coulda read "Chidrens’ Peridontal Monthly") 

I had no idea who any of the glossies were….cancelled forty cable channels the next day…a savings of 480 dollars a year…half a thousand dollars…….

I would expect that the internet would give all of us old ladies a little better run for our money….$24.76 a month…..is it worth it…? yet?
