Thank you so much for your reply to my comments. It is ashamed that you are wrong as far as I’m concerned. Sarah is not my advocate. I believe in woman’s right to choose and even though I am a Christian I do not take the Bible literally. I’m not saying that Sarah should be burned at the stake. I’m sure she’s a great person. She is actually a good governor or so the polls indicate. Heck, as I stated before, she’s probably great to have a beer and go bowling with. You have to admit the Sarah that came out over the past few months did not show something other than she is. Just a regular ol’ hockey mom who has strong beliefs that are not exactly the beliefs that the majority of Americans share. She is not vice president material or anything other than what she is already. Yes, everyone wants to interview her. On that point you were right. The reason being is that she didn’t have that many interviews during the campaigns. Why? Maybe because she always messed up somehow. Heck, she’s always good for a laugh. Look at the ratings SNL had when she was on. Even when she wasn’t on the show, the comedy teams had her pegged. The writer’s didn’t even have to come up with material, the comic would just repeat what Sarah had said, and it would bring the house down. Sarah needs to stay in Alaska where she is safe and people love her. The national stage is not for her. She’s just not equipped to handle the national media. So though I think she’s a good person, please don’t call her my advocate. That she’s not. I have never disagreed with a person’s beliefs as much as I do Palin. Sarah and I are like night and day. I will never get used to her. As far as the media being mean to Sarah and making her look like an idiot, it’s simply not true. She does a good job doing that herself and just being unlucky enough to be caught on camera. Again I would like to thank you for your comments. It’s nice to know that people actually read what I write.

I was thinking, about a bailout that will help everyone. Something like using the money to make energy efficient cars. Also use some of the money to go to people who turn in their gas guzzlers for these new cars. This way the earth will be better, car makers will have cars to make, people can afford to buy the new cars, sounds like a win win situation to me. Maybe, even a tax credit for those people who turn in their “hummers” and “full size cars” in exchange for an energy efficient car. It would be like getting a credit if you get a medal roof. If you save energy, you get a tax credit. Let’s help the auto industry, but make it so everyone wins. Let’s make cars that will help us get away from being dependant on foreign oil. That sure sounds better than putting thousands of people out of work and one of our leading industries going under.

I’m so proud of Obama. All his choices have been well thought out and right on the money. I have to confess I don’t know about EVERY person he’s chosen so far, but I watch CNN, and from what I can gather Obama is doing a great job. Hurry January 20th, so the new adminstration can get to work. Can’t wait!

Belinda, I was wondering the same thing. Her voice is raspy and so deep. I wish the best of luck to Rachel, I really love her show and I really like it when she sits in on “The View”. She’s always so upbeat and fun to watch.

Who would have thought that I have so much in common with Hillary? I always felt she was a special woman. Maybe it’s because she’s so much like me!! LOL

Sarah just never goes away. I must say however that I AM looking forward to Barbara Walters special on Thursday night though. I understand that Barbara is having the 10 most interesting people and Sarah is one of them. Then, I’ll be looking forward to wowOwow on Friday because you know she’s going to mess up. It’s in her nature. She may be a good speech reader but when it’s all natural, no script, she will put her foot in her mouth.

I’ve owned my clothes for so long I know what they look like on. I don’t wear make up so don’t need to see my face. My hair is a wash and go style and the part is there automatically. Mirrors…..maybe to brush my teeth, but I think if I had to, I could do it without looking in a mirror. So my answer is I can do without a mirror forever!

With 4 children, their 4 spouses and 10 grandchildren, not to mention sisters, brothers and parents we are also opting not to do the gift thing. My husband said, “Everyone gets $25.00 gift card so we love everyone the same.” The shopping, the crowds, the check-out lines are not for us. I just wish we could afford more than the $25.00 but in these times, I’m happy that we can budget that! Plus we save on the postage. Now we are puttiing the gift cards into the Christmas cards. Shoot there were some years where we paid more in postage than we did on the gifts. So good luck to those people who are going into battle today to save a few dollars. Not too bright taking private jets to ask for taxpayers money. How did AIG get to the meetings? Bet they didn’t walk there! My husband works as a mechanic and business is really bad. It’s a good thing we have his military retirement to fall back on. Even still, things are tough. I think a bailout is a good idea for the auto makers but I think there should be no blank check. I want to know where the money is going and I want to make sure that the cars being produced are fuel efficent cars. No more gas guzzlers and huge SUV’S.

I love the view. I just can’t say enough about those women. I must admit if I had to sit next to Elisabeth I’d be throwing some punches her way. Elisabeth is just so stuck, she can’t see straight. After watching everyday I don’t believe that these people hang out together. They must get along OK otherwise there would be punches thrown on the show. If Hasselbeck would remove that stick that’s up her butt, it would probably be less tense and more enjoyable. Rosie, I loved you on the view also. I think it was wrong how Elisabeth didn’t back you up about the troops. That was just wrong. So, good luck Rosie with your new show. I’ll be tuning in to check out the variety acts coming our way.

Who’s John McCain? Oh he’s the guy that ran with Sarah Palin for president. Well, if not a president he might as well stay where he started from. This time we will keep checks and balances on pork and special interest groups.

I believe in natural beauty. I don’t wear any makeup. Thank goodness my husband hate’s all that stuff. I see friends who have worn makeup since they were teens now they can’t leave the house without “doing their face.” Staying out of the sun and tanning beds helps also.
