Lilly, I love your comedy ! I laughed so much in All Of Me with Steven Martin, it looked like you were having a wonderful time when you were dancing at the end of the movie.

Could WOW have found a worse photo of Mrs. McCain ? Do whatever you want to do, because no matter what you do, someone will find fault with it, especially women ! They won’t care how smart you are, what you have accomplished, how well you have raised your children, how much education you have, they will only look for your faults (as they see them) and shortcommings ! Why couldn’t we offer positive advice?

I agree with recycling. Our society has become accustomed to ” planned obsolescents. ” Whenever we replace anything we donate it to someone that can use it. We compost our veggies, grass clippings and paper, we recycle aluminum cans. Our town doesn’t have any other recycling programs. Maybe we could elimate our dependence on gas if we just burned our garbage to power our autos. The infuriating plastic packaging is a safeguard against shoplifting! It does add to our waste and probably takes eons to break down.

Take a break, you must be exhausted ! Everything happens for a reason,there will be other opportunities ahead !

My boss is a young man almost half my age, to his credit he respects my position.I’ve been here ten years, he has been here one and half years. He is a bit immature and unpredicable at times but he is very entertaining and keeps us laughing sometimes to the point of tears ! I really can’t complain. I have a lot of imput with him, while we don’t always see eye to eye we get along very well. He is always listens to my two cents ! I feel sorry for those of you that have bad,mean,awful bosses !

Ms. Crowley,if the information in McClellan’s book is the truth, I see no need to wait ! The Bush administration is deplorable ! I too wonder why McClellan took so long to tell his story, I’m sure Mugsy is correct about the release of the book now impacting the election. It is frighting to think that this administration could fool even Colin Powell.

Gays are a large segment of our society, regardless of how you feel about it. It makes sense to allow them legal rights granted to people that are married. The word marriage seems to be a problem for a lot of people. Is being gay a choice or genetics ? When the bible was written there was no knowledge of genetics. Lepers were shunned out of ignorance…

Of course Murphy Brown, That Girl, Golden Girls, Three’s Company, Mary Tyler Moore,Northern Exposure,Third Rock, John Lithgow was in a show in the last two years,don’t remember the name,it was like the Odd Couple (another good one) it was something like 20 Good Years, didn’t last long, Judging Amy,MASH,Ellen.There was a show where the BJ Honeycutt character from MASH played a vet that had lost his wife and lived with his daughters. I didn’t watch much of Twilight Zone but think I would like it and Alfred Hitchcock now. Masterpiece Theater is excellent ! There are a few good shows on now but not enough !

My mother sent me to” charm school” where I also learned how to walk properly,we weren’t supposed to let our heels click on the floor when we walked, shoulders back, head up etc. bend at the knee, sit on the edge of a chair. Hold your hands in your lap.Never let any straps show, bra or slip. No elbows on the table. Speak in a quiet voice.
