'Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired' Sneak Preview (video)

Is it known whether or not at any point he expressed insight into his harmful actions and crime and did he ever express remorse for it while on trial?

With all due respect, JMK, no “one” says it all.

I agree with you. I feel saddened that the legitimate upsets stated on posts that come later on this thread chose a moment that I think is unfair and unfitting to address them. sex·ism Pronunciation[sek-siz-uhm] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun 1. attitudes or behavior based on traditional stereotypes of sexual roles. Yes, Peg. I think this has been reversed in this instance. I don’t believe that Frank fits a stereotype. I have not found him to be disrespectful toward the women on this site whatsoever. And yes as stated in a later post, sexism abounds and women are so zapped with it that perhaps they have gotten blind to it. Then I’d ask those that are more aware to “teach” and bring these areas into the light of day. Not this way …It’s the type of reactivity and displacement that has held women down further in my opinion. If a known sexist male is featured on this site in a question or conversation then a logical, well-constructed letter to the wow powers that be could be constructed (and another and another, if necessary) Choosing this moment when a male writers contribution is featured to unleash is “kicking the dog,” in my opinion. I don’t know if I articulated this well. To me, a lack of sexism will exist when people are spoken about under a context of “human beings” and the gender thing isn’t a criteria. “Gender-blind” if you will. Then again, I am an idealist. I find the tone this thread has taken much less than ideal. :(

Renata, Your responses are becoming increasingly tangential. Do you even “read” another’s post before you start formulating your word arsenal of repetitive, self-righteous, declarations? Where I come from they call that “mental masturbation” and it’s generally a solo act. Kara did NOT say she was voting for McCain. She said if you represent Obama (paraphrase) she would then vote McCain. Do you get that? Can you read your audience? Are you able to see that you are doing your candidate a serious disservice. I am afraid I will have to relegate you to the likes of Dr. Mark Klein and “De-Klein” your posts as well if you persist in these rants.

What is the best job you've ever had?

Linda Clark, I had to re-read your post 17 times to understand the later spelling reference. Please be gentle with yourself. I find you to be insightful and delightful. I would have never seen the typo. Thought it was some kind of trick as I was searching. :)

Hugs to you, as well, dear one. And Liza, you never seem in over your head. Try looking at you through my lens. I see an open, honest, authentic, intelligent, courageous and sweet woman when I read Liza D. I look forward to reading whatever pearls you send our way on any topic. Though ju ju bees are fine for a break…:)

Oh there you are…hadn’t seen you since yesterday. Glad to read you this evening, Liza. :)

How do you feel about Hillary Clinton's announcement last night?

Scarlet, flaming, brilliant red flag, I agree Susan B.

Thank you Phyllis for that wonderful complement and yes, it is a bit exhausting. :)

Lesley Stahl, Cynthia McFadden: Sexism Went Unchallenged During Hillary Campaign

Taken from a concept I heard about and have since been told is the subject of this book, Frank, What Could He Be Thinking?: How a Man’s Mind Really Works By Michael Gurian Now, when a baby is gendered in utero (around 3 mos. if memory serves), when the baby is male, “damage” is done to the corpus callosum which links the two hemispheres of the brain together. This does not happen with the female fetus. Hence “she” can switch more easily between hemispheres (Think about that Men from Venus, Women from Mars” book to appreciate the ramifications). So there is a subset of men called “bridge brains” that have evolved to a place where they are able to fluidly use both hemispheres. Let me tell you, Frank, the women adore bridge brains because they are more evolved and can interact on a more kindred level. You, Frank are a bridge brain. And that’s a wonderful thing. :)

Worth a Thousand Words? Absolutely!

J’adore “Moroccan Landscapes.” Simply love it. Breathtaking. Runs deep…thank you for sharing.

My grip on reality remains secure as well. As a New Yorker, I fully support the candidate that will adequately address the economic, social, international and all of the issues that challenge these times as well as each individuals right and capacity to choose who they believe is best suited for that. As with my parents, I believed strongly in the values, philosophies and accomplishments of Martin Luther King and grieve the death of an amazing man-he brought progress and we can see it. I also know the opposite. Unity is a creative force. Divisiveness a catabolic force. Isn’t there something you’re eager to create, Renata?
