I lived in NYC during this time period. I had a dog. I talked to hundreds of dog owners. I never met one who wanted to make a political statement with their dog. Most of them wanted to get out of the horizontal rain and get to work. But now that Obama has alerted me to this white black problem with neighborhoods and dogs, I will be looking for white and / or black people walking through white and / or black neighborhoods doing bad things with their dogs.
