deber B. as soon as a Republican is caught in a sexual scandal , you defend them as prisoners of their hormones.  How inmature is that?  Certainly none of that campassionate conservatism has ever been extended to Democrats caught in similar situations.  As explained by David Coe, son of Douglas who is the leader of The Fellowship, the men of The Fellowship are the new chosen ones…now exposed by Mark Sanford in his all too revealing ‘confession’ when he outted the C Street House.  Comparing himself to David in the Bible is the tact taught by The Fellowship, suppodedly from the biblical story.  The difference is that Nathan called out David for his sins, forgiveness came only with repentance.  High School students are taught impulse control, reward/consequences.  One would expect elected officials to apply similar standards.  Don’t keep condoning men because they have hormones.  ‘Some people make bad choices…I agree with you there.

Libra Lady, I do share some of your concerns about the urgency to pass legislation so quickly.  Often what appears to be bashing or attacking, I think, is the frustration we are all experiencing right now:  Afraid we’re going to lose something we’ve got or not get something we want or need. Humans require a basic sense of safety and well-being; lately, seems like someone came in the night and snatched it away. But it’s happening to all of us, and we all want so much to find someone to blame, think we know who to blame.  Our circuits have been overloaded.  Unfortunately, some people are not willing to acknowledge that decent, responsible people may hold a different view. .  Well, a calm in the roar will always be appreciated.  Now, here’s an interesting development, the Sears Tower in Chicago has been renamed The Willis Tower….I’m going to get right out there and start collecting rent.  What do you think?

Thank you for your post.  I have been having problems with my ears and have tried to attribute it to all kinds of ‘self-corrective’ causes.  Now that I hear your story, think I will get my ears checked….I have heard those ‘whispered conversations’ when I’m up late reading.
