Ted Kennedy was my hero.  I got to play little league baseball in 1974 thanks to Title IX.  Before I left work due to disability, I worked for non-profits that provided services to the disabled.  Thanks to the Rehab Act of 73 as well as The Americans With Disabilities Act, I was able to assist people to achieve many of their goals and dreams.  There are so many things that his hard work in the Senate brought to our lives.  It has been piercing to my heart to watch the processional from Hyannis and then those filing past the coffin at the JFK library.  Rest in peace, you wonderful lion.

A.  They are both dead and can’t speak for themselves.  B.  If this is true, it was more than 40 years ago, and again they are both dead, so what?  C.  Do not buy this book, it is the second book about jackie this rag mag type has written, he doesn’t need to make any more money on someone who is dead.

I don’t think that one should disparage Ryan O’Neal.  The documentary "Farrah’s Story" gave people a good idea what going through cancer is all about.  He wasn’t rying to sell her death.  If anything, editing the documentary and letting people know his feelings will help him now that the love of his life is gone.  He is also dealing with cancer, taking many medications for luekemia.  Give the guy a break.

Never miss Letterman.  EKA—no you are not crazy about Paul McCartney, he is da bom!  I also am getting attached to Jimmy Fallon, but feel I am betraying Craig, he is such a hoot!

And someone broke into George Harrison’s and stabbed him in 1999—his wife Olivia hit the attacker over the head with a lamp and saved George’s life.  I am glad Paul fought and won.  He deserves privacy and respect.

My best friend and I saw Liza on opening night at Hinckley, MN—she was fabulous!  It was in September, 2007, and to watch her dance and kick and sing and joke—wow!  The show was fabulous and such a tribute to her godmother, Kay Thompson, as well as Liza herself.  I wish Liza only the best and to take it one day at a time.  She has all my love and thoughts.  Hang in there, Liza!!!

i loved the documentary and am so looking forward to the HBO production.  Drew was fabulous on David Letterman last night!  She has grown into such a dynamo and seems like a very lovely and nice person.

Am watching Rachel right now and Candace and Judi and Liz Smith are on and it is great to see WOW getting a good press!

If I were a household appliance, it would be a blender. I am always trying to keep things “stirred up” and well mixed. This is especially true now that my immature son is moving home this week from his first year of college. He is going to live at home and commute to the same college in the fall. He alone, keeps me spinning, pulsating and almost pureed!
