My boss is a woman of integrity. She practices what she preaches. She only ever treats people with dignity. I am so lucky! The best part of all…she does this with humility and has no airs and graces about what she does. She is an inspiring woman!

You are so lucky Candice! Those amazing and diverse musical experiences! How they must make for wonderful memories! I would say that I have thoroughly enjoyed Elton John Concerts in Sydney. I have been to a lot of concerts that I have enjoyed thoroughly - classical and contemporary! Music is divine. It feeds the soul.

My current job, Head of English Faculty at school. I love the staff and the students. My boss is a wise woman. I love the fact that each day is different and I am forever grateful for the privilege to be able to teach generations of young women. Equipping young women with the skills to articulate their ideas with clarity and confidence, as well as inspiring young women to want to learn is indeed a privilege that I don’t for one day take for granted.

I enjoy one or two glasses most days. My favourite is a deep, full bodied red wine. I will only really drink a crisp white during summer, or unless it is a cold seafood meal. I am very luck, where I live in Australia as there are so many wonderful vineyards - and many not too far from the city (Sydney) just two or three hours drive away! In fact I have a deep bodied red at the moment with some delicious dark, dark chocolate (99%) very bitter but goes very well with the red!

I really enjoyed reading this conversation. Such elegance, beauty and class! Halston is iconic as are the women whose conversations we have the pleasure of reading. This is such a unique website and the conversations are amazing - I can say that I would be happy to read such conversations again and again…

Sit with your legs together. Don’t raise your voice. Ensure your underwear could not be seen under your outfit. Do not draw attention to yourself. It’s just amazing that even across geographical borders and generations - the advice is still the same!!!!

Given there are few shows that I have ever really committed to - the two that I miss the most are Murphy Brown and The West Wing. I love shows that deal with social issues and make you think. Part of the enjoyment of both of these programs is the intelligent script writing and the capacity for the actors to bring to life such complex and at times flawed individuals. I am looking forward to further seasons of Murphy Brown being released!!

I love this segment! I am an English Literature teacher and if I can’t be out in the surrounds of the beautiful grounds of my school with my students, then my desk and work and my desk at home are places that inspire me to write. I believe that ones’ desk can define a lot about the person and this was evident in the beautiful visual representation on this site! Thank you. As another person said - it reveals an insight into the wonderful and talented women who so generously contribute to this site! Thank you again!

If I was an American citizen (I am an Australian) I would definitely feel safe with a female commander-in-chief! I think Hillary would be a wonderful choice! I imagine a great deal of good would come from having an intelligent, altruistic leader.
