Are you territorial when it comes to your friends?

I’m curious as to whether the people who voted “no” read the CNN article before answering. The case presented led me to vote “sometimes” as I feel that if my friend married my ex, I would have been devastated, too. I do feel, as with others, that I have created a network of friends in my life with no territorial feelings.

What is your favorite game show of all time?

Game shows are not my thing, but I’ll have to admit I do occasionally watch old Match Game reruns on the Game Show Network - so hilarious!

Do women age better than men?

I’n one of the “other” votes and I’m looking at this strictly superficially. In our 20s we were all lovely, in our 30s, we started showing some age; in our 40s and 50s, men seemed to be able to look better while women showed more age, but in the 60s and 70s women start to look better than men again. Am I nuts or have others noticed this trend?

Should Spanish be taught as part of the mandatory curriculum in our elementary schools?

Yes, gosh yes! I can’t believe the no answers exceed the yes. However, maybe those answering no would prefer the language to be Mandarin which is the language spoken by the most people.

What piece of clothing do you own that is not in style, doesn't fit, that you do not wear, but you keep?

I have some items- the first two aprons I made when I learned to sew (on my mother’s treadle machine), two sweaters that a sister knit for me when I was in high school (I’m now 62), a dress that I crocheted in 1970 that I wore with a body stocking, and, of course, my wedding dress.

What is the best advice your dad ever gave you?

I’m laughing to myself. At first I couldn’t think of anything he ever said as our mother reared us while our father worked - very defined roles. Then out of the depths came, “Don’t overdraw your checkbook” and “Be sure to always have cash in your wallet.” They were married in 1929.

Bella Mia, I so agree with you. I’ve often wondered if some of great influence in the Democratic party promised Hillary a run for the White House if she stayed with Bill. I would call him a liability, not an asset.
