I am sooooo glad I found this site. It restores something in my soul. (Sorry, that sounds so sappy)

It probably should not matter to me, but it does. He certainly has the right to be upset about the article in Vanity Fair. It was not nice - true or not. He rage on camera was ill-chosen. Aside from that, last night I heard news talking heads absolve him for his anger. I was wondering what would have happened if Cindy McCain or Michelle Obama had exploded in anger like that. We would have heard about it for weeks. The campaigns of their husband would have been torn apart. We would have heard phrases like ‘temper tantrum’, ‘hissy fit’, etc. Why does Bill get away with behavior that the wives would be judged for? Michelle has been watched and judged for every word that has come out of her mouth - real and imagined. Bill gets a pass. I would love to see a woman in the White House - way past time, but I am an Obama supporter. I expected this race to be sexist, but I have been appalled at how blatant the media coverage has been.

I love the term ‘Jesusian’ it is so appropriate. I was raised Southern Baptist and joined the Catholic church when I married. I didn’t see much difference between them. Very legalistic and patriarchal. The Lutheran church I belong to now has a woman pastor. I like the emphasis on grace. I read a wonderful book ‘Dance of the Dissident Daughter” by Sue Monk Kidd. I think she was writing my story.

I do think about him. He’s the father of my three children. The kids are just now getting to know him after 12 years. He had other things to do that talk to his children. I don’t miss the man he’s turned into. That man is angry and mean. I do miss the man I thought I married. Maybe he was an illusion.

I could so live on $51K/month. Having said that, I really don’t know the private circumstances of their lives. I’m agreeing with Kelly Kelly. The true amount she deserves is probably somewhere in between. It’s too sad that we even know about this. I can’t beging to imagine what it’s like to go through such a nasty divorce in public. Mine was painful enough in obscurity.

I’ve noticed that this site gets very confusing with many different conversations going on at the same time. Other sites have a way to have different threads so each issue/question can be addressed and not lost. This is a great site! I just discovered it today. Thank you wowowow.
