Hey, Ms. Josie!! Yeah, I usually only come out when Ms. Jane is around … otherwise, what’s the point?
I second the "let’s hear from you more often."
There are thousands of places to travel to before you die. What are your top three?
I would like to visit wherever this picture was taken … alone … except for my animals … with my laptop mini … writing … while sipping on a Piña Colada.
Jane Wagner on Why Jaw Tension Is the Worst
Ms. Jane, I fell asleep last night without putting in my NTI and man do my teeth and jaws hurt!!! I can’t say it enough—they so make a difference.
I hope you and Lil are doing well. I miss talking with you. xo

Lynn,
Man, did you just sum up everything!

Kermie/C A,
Also, on the same site I provided in another post, please see this demonstration without an NTI and with an NTI:

Hey Kermie! My apologies, I just saw your post (I’m still waking up).
I understand what you’re saying. That’s the design flaw of mouthguards—they allow your back teeth to come together, so you still put pressure on your jaws. An NTI prevents you from closing your mouth completely, and it’s not uncomfortable, and it sure as hell is better to wake up without the pain! When I fall asleep without mine, I regret it in the morning.
Anyway, my NTI was about $250 and the thing is they are almost indestructable! You cannot chew threw them—it is physically impossible.
Please also so the link I provided to C A Rose.
I hope you guys can find a dentist that will do this for you. My dentist is a young guy, so he’s pretty much progressive and up-to-date on all the latest processes and techniques. In fact, he wears an NTI himself. I have NEVER regretted making this purchase! BTW, my insurance (and probably most insurance companies) wouldn’t pay for this device—it’s rather new and they still consider it cosmetic. They have NO CLUE! Trust me, $250 (ONE TIME) is well worth every penny.

Hi there C A. Please look at my post a little further down; it explains the NTI.
Also, here is a website all about NTIs, with photos too: http://www.nti-tss.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=243&Itemid=211
I hope this helps you.

Me too, Miss Jane. Me too. I suppose that is partly why I love the works of Tennessee Williams, William Faulkner, Flannery O’Connor, Harper Lee, and Truman Capote!! Can’t forget Capote.
As to it possibly being more of a mental condition … yeah, you got that right.

When I was in my 20s and under stress, I didn’t eat. Now, I eat!

I meant to say:
"When you try to grind your teeth, you can’t because your back teeth can’t touch … " But, you’re a smart lady, I’m sure you figured it out. :)

Excellent advice, Dice! And it’s so good to see you are still around. :)
