You’re right.  She never wears her glasses on her own show but she always wears them as a guest on everyone else’s shows.  For whatever reason, MSNBC probably doesn’t let her wear them.   Maybe they think she looks too harsh or too butch with them on.  Who knows.

Inasmuch as I would like to say I’d buy American, I don’t think I would. I have had a few American cars, a Ford Capri and 2 Jeep Grand Cherokees, all of which were poorly made cars and spent more time in the shop than I spent in them. But, I also had a Ford Escape that, along with my driving skills, saved my life when a wrong way driver hit me head on at 80-90 miles per hour. Since then, I have had nothing but nightmares and will only drive the safest cars to crash in and none of them are American. I want a good, sturdy, strong, well-built car, and have only had BMW’s and a Mercedes since then. Until an American car is made to feel and ride and protect like the German/Japanese cars (I would like the Lexus 400h next time), I will have to continue buying European. I do like the Prius but am afraid of it’s small, squashable size. American cars are just not good anymore.

I never heard of any of her tax woes. Regardless, she’s not in office now, is she? Non-issue.

I liked this show, too, but it was up against Dirty Sexy Money and Top Chef/Top Design. The networks never spread good shows out; they lump them all on the same nights and leave the rest of the nights with nothing good at all. if they had tried Lipstick on another night, it would have been just fine. They didn’t even try……….Sorry to Brooke and the girls. NBC blew it, as usual.

Ann Curry is just stunning! She’s normal and simple and just plain down to earth. Of these you’ve chosen to post, Ann is by far the best example of a woman not looking her age. I’m almost 47 and can only hope and pray I’ll look as fabulous as she does at 52!

Honestly, I can’t bring myself to look yet. I worked for Morgan Stanley for 8 years and know a little bit about this stuff. Historically, this happens and it always gets better, bigger than it was. Let’s just hope it happens like that again, and soon. (Thank God I don’t have MS stock anymore!!!!)

My mom passed away from breast cancer at age 50, 16 1/2 years ago and 2 days after I turned 30. She was a tall, thin, blonde, beautiful drink of water, as many said. Now, I’m almost 47 and am also tall and thin and blonde. My mom had 4 kids, I have had none. So, although I’m always told I don’t look my age, I think she looked better than me because she had had kids, had a full life (although waaaay too short) and carried herself so beautifully. I’ve never met a classier, more beautiful, loving woman than my mom.

I was at an end of summer party at my beach club after a long weekend playing in a paddle tennis tournament. I was sitting there watching the finals and keeping an ear on Wimbledon when a friend called and said Diana had been in a life-threatening accident. Needless to say, half the people at the party were glued to the television the rest of the night and we were totally shocked and devastated to learn of her death. She was exactly my age. I stayed up all night to watch her wedding and now I had to stay up all night to watch her funeral.

I am 46, almost 47. I am healthy and athletic and feel and look younger than my age. I have Blue Cross PPO and pay $436 every 2 months and think it’s crazy. Do we really need to do this just to go to the GYN twice a year and get a mammogram once a year? Crazy, isn’t it?

Madeleine looked very nice. Caroline always dresses appropriately and looked very nice. Katie looked great and confortable in the dress and blazer. Michelle’s turquoise dress was great on her but I felt it was a bit too long. She has great gams and should show them off! I also liked Hillary in the orange and turquoise suits.

How wrong you are! The only haricuts you have here that help to keep you looking younger are Jaime’s, Sharon’s, Jane’s and Christine’s. Everyone else looks their age or older! Most look terrible; they’re trying to look younger but it ain’t working! Sharon looks waaay better with her hair short. Ellen looks horrible every way she tries (sorry), Susan just looks like a mom her age, and everyone else just looks old. It’s really hard to find a hairstyle that helps you look young, I’m having a hell of a time, too! Short is best on me but I’m single and men like long hair! I’ll keep trying and you keep trying!

Frank, are you a gay man? Not that there is anything wrong with that at all as I have tons of gay friends; it just seems weird that you come to chat on a women’s site.
